❂ wake up [ritsu]
She responded to the sneer with a tilt of her head while one of her hands reached so her finger could tap against her lips, gaze still darting over her classmate. Though she blinked at the words that followed, tapping stopping.
“Lazy, fatass,” she repeated the words, committed them to memory. Though why she really felt the need to do such a thing was beyond her; maybe it was for observation purposes or maybe she was using this chance to find a gap in the other female’s armor.
Either way a small smile, too sickly sweet to be innocent, made it’s way to her lips, “To win a coveted gold medal would be something to write home about, I’m happy you think I could do so well,” rest assured though, with enough poking and prodding the redhead would more than likely get more of a reaction from the former recluse.
What, was she cataloging the insults or something? Ritsu began to feel unsettled -- Well, a more honest way to put it would be that he was beginning to realize that he'd been unsettled since the moment he'd laid eyes on her. Something was... wrong with this girl, something on a deeper level that he couldn't hope to understand without several degrees in psychology. Maybe that was why he was being so vehement with his need to get under her skin, as if he needed some confirmation that she was human at all.
"Oh, sure!" Ritsu continued his petty assault, almost surprised the recluse hadn't walked away already. "A gold medal in failing at life is something, isn't it? Staying in your room and sleeping all day must be hard work. You deserve a little recognition."
Then his face twisted into a scowl and he spat, almost as an aside, "People like you make me sick. I hate people, too, but you don't see me hiding from them all day long."
