I Need You with Me || Adabelle
Honestly, Belle jumped a little at his voice. She didn’t expect him to be awake for awhile and she wasn’t going to wake him, he’s even grumpier with lack of sleep, as though that were possible. “Getting up would be nice… Not so sure I can walk though…” Casual, how was their speaking so casual? Her eyes stayed on him, watching quietly as they shared body heat. Thankfully his room wasn’t too cold or with no blanket she would be freezing. She stretched once his arm moved, laying still on the solid ground as he leaned in… He was going to… And then he didn’t. And part of her was disappointed. His words made her think for the first time in several hours, her eyes following his gesture to her nightgown and robe that laid in a pile on the floor. She licked her lips and sat up carefully, her muscles pulling, the ache overwhelming her, she wasn’t used to this, she wasn’t used to it at all.
"Ruin your papers again…" Belle repeated softly under her breath, she didn’t think she could handle another round of that so soon. She was already sure she would scarcely be able to walk for the next few days, another round would put her out of commission for at least the week. "I… I’ll stay." Reaching over to her nightgown, she slid it on over her naked body. It and the robe seemed to be the only salvageable fabric from the escapade. She wobbled to a stand as she got up and gripped the small tale to keep from falling over. "Do you need breakfast?"
"Breakfast? No, I don't--don't make anything, Isabelle." He shrugged, taking a long drink of his water and watching her coolly all the while. "You look tired," he teased while she wobbled, unsteady on her own feet. He was proud of himself, seeing her difficulties in even standing up right. "Did you enjoy it?" Adam shifted his weight from one foot to the either, leaning back against the counter. "Your night, I mean."
