I’ve seen quite a few post about amongi flower headcanons, and it really inspired me to throw my hat in the ring. Also, a discord joke about tasteful amongi nudes just being flower bouquets with extra steps really amused me. So, I’ve decided, for each character, I’d draw them with what flower I most associate with them (along the scientific name and flower facts to feed my inner nerd). If this interests you, my ramble is under the cut!

Trifolium stoloniferum - Running Buffalo Clover (not to be confused with Buffalo Clover which is Trifolium reflexum)
Trifolium repens - White Clover (also known as Dutch Clover; White Sweet Clover; Shamrock; and others)
Green, without a shadow of a doubt is some sort of white colored clover. With their background of being a lower class farmer, a wild flower that is visually seen as abundant and often considered a weed felt fitting. However, there is more to Green then what is surface level. So, rather than just a single clover species, I made Green a hypothetical cross between the White Clover and Running Buffalo Clover.
While a specific cross between these two plants species have yet to be documented, it's theoretically possible due to both clovers being in the same genus. They also share similar dispersal patterns! So, at least for this, imagine a clover hybrid of sorts.
Both clovers are nitrogen fixers. Through a symbiotic relationship with bacteria in the soil, known as Rhizobium, these plants have the ability to convert nitrogen gas into a form that can be put back into the soil as usable plant nutrients. This nutrient rich soil is exactly the kind of place worms like to be in (surely you must see where I am going with this for our silly worm farmer). And yet, while clovers as a plant are wide spread, not all clovers are made equal.
The Running Buffalo Clover, is a native plant to Eastern and Midwestern United States that's currently listed as endangered. Identified by their flowers upright position and stolonization (basically they grow out horizontally along the ground to make more root systems), they were likely once maintained by herds of grazing Buffalo which is what encouraged the plants to grow (hense the name). This plant was intially thought to be extinct, until they were rediscovered in 1983. Yet, even now, it's not really doing too hot considering continued threats of development and how the Buffalos range have been greatly lessened from what they once were.
Instead, the most widespread and recognizable form of clover tends to be the White Clover. Originating from Europe, this species has colonized a good chunck of the planet. Having been fully naturalized in many places around the world, they can be identified by their low-growing stems and light banding along their leaves. This plant also participates in stolonization and, unlike the Running Buffalo Clover, is an aggressive grower. It's part of the reason why they are found just about everywhere and can grow in the most darndest of places.
Now, what do these facts have to do with Green? Well, they both greatly encapsulate what I think of Green as a character. Besides the obvious worm connection (I have a separate headcanon about the worm farmer helping with terraforming certain planets to make them livable), they just really give the vibes of an underrated yet really helpful perennial flower. It's simple and easy to overlook, just being so recognizable and yet only really acknowledged when actively required for something. Which, in a way, mirrors how I feel a lot of the crew see Green to an extent. Honestly, if Green was never the impostor, what more would we know about them besides being a worm farmer and wanting to be a captain? The few times Green tried getting into anything deeply personal about their life, they're either cut off, ignored, or played off for laughs (which isn't a knock against the show at all, just delving a bit into the character side of this). Yet, despite this, Green is quite the hardy character in of itself.
Clovers are known to be pioneer plants. When an new ecological area opens, they're one of the first to show up. And, in a way, that's very much Green. A bean leaving behind their Clover Patch (which I like to imagine the village referes to the whole family unit as (refering to Green's direct family)) to go out into space and explore the unknown as a captain. It's just a shame that, like most plants seen as weeds, they were snuffed out before they ever really got the chance to blossom. Ironic that a plant synonyms with good luck, wasn't enough to save Green from the capitalist machine (and alien parasites too I guess, but that's also a metaphor for capitalism in my books).

Imagine bieng afraid of aliens , that fear becoming real , one of the people you trust the most got converted into an alien ( the hot doctor ) , getting chased by an more aggressive alien ( our inoccent bean green 😇) in the vents , getting caught and after a bit of talking you get turned into an alien . That's crazy ngl , life is unfair for lime 😔
Oh yeah, Lime didn’t take it well in the slightest. They’ve been muttering nonstop nonsense about defiled temples ever since that day. Probably nothing important though.
Blue does what they can to ease Lime’s distress. Despite their efforts, it doesn’t look to be helping.

After many decades as the undisputed top mega corporation of amongi society, MIRA finally has some competition. PEUC, an openly impostor tolerant company, has found its way onto the big stage. Pushing alien positive views, and making major leaps with its impostor integration program (because if they are smart enough to blend into society, they are sentient enough to pay taxes and be used like the average crewmate employee), PEUC takes to exploiting an open market that MIRA was too slow to the punch for.
Despite such a setback, Pink (MIRA’s CEO) is as stoic as ever. The PEUC company is still relatively young, and not as entrenched in society as MIRA. No matter what Cyan (PEUC’s CEO - unrelated to the Cyan in the show) may say or do, novel ideas aren’t something people gravitate to. MIRA will remain supreme. Right?
Current estimates in both companies growth rates may beg to differ. And, as these two corporate giants start butting heads, it’s likely gonna end up as everyone’s problem…

Certainly! Ngl, I have a lot of concepts and ideas when it comes to fankids for a lot of the Among Us characters, but most tend to overlap with common ideas already out there. However, I do have at least one concept tied to a very specific AU that I haven’t seen done yet for a Paidintern fankid.
I don’t have a name for the kiddo as of yet, but here’s the singular Paidtern kid I’ve actively drawn in something that is more than just a doodle. They have albinism, and lack necessary chlorophyll in their plant (this is based on an actual natural phenomenon where a plant may grow completely white and unable to photosynthesis). Due to this, they were very small, very fragile, and very sickly growing up. They needed to have their diet supplemented due to deficiencies in necessary nutrients. Yet, against all odds, here they are.
They don’t have the best relationship with either parents, and I would go more into detail about that if that didn’t spoil quite a bit I have planned for the fanfic I’m writing. Keep an eye out for that if you’re interested. ;)
Wanted to test out some new brushes and got hit with a funny idea. Still working on other artwork and whatnot to answer questions, but those take a bit longer.

Very good question! Took me a long while to hash out what I think could/would happen. But, for the sake of keeping things simple, here is the best case scenario for White.
The name of the game is making the other cremates impostors like them. But, since White realistically can’t convince everyone alone, their best bet is to assimilate both Blue and (funnily enough) Cyan as their personalities lend itself to better persuasion.
Blue, being both the doctor and heartthrob they are is an obvious pick. Blue’s knowledge on things both physical (prior to being made an impostor, they’d insist on studying their biology which White would happily obliged) and mental health is important. White, despite being an imposter themselves, likely doesn’t have the scientific knowledge that Blue can to infer upon things. White knows this. So Blue is of course top of thief list.
As for Cyan, the reason White needs them converted is because of their almost supernatural intuition with the Ore+ eggs. Impostor Cyan seems to be able to almost communicate with the unhatched aliens inside. It is Cyan that not only realizes that the Ore contains eggs, but said aliens within the eggs can have different compatibilities based upon its temperament and preferred host. The higher the compatibility between an alien and the host, the smoother the transition into being an impostor. There is less chance for versatile or negative effects due to this. An example of a not so great compatibility is Green themself, as they’re far too aggressive with a high prey drive post-infection.
Cyan likely convinces Black. Brown may ultimately be converted through the efforts of Orange and White, though Yellow is up in the air (I can see White possibly settling for only assimilating 1 of the chefs, as they’re so loyal to each other it’s unlikely they’d put the other at risk). Lime could be persuaded (after being chased down and caught by Green) with Blue’s prompting and a bit conspiracy theory crafting from White. Red does something stupid and probably accidentally becomes an impostor. Finally, that leaves Purple…
White will likely have the hardest time trying to convince them to assimilate. How that ends? Well, perhaps they’ll find out when they all touch down on Industria alive.
Had a new headcanon pop up into my mind recently in regards to both Green and White. It essentially boils down to their childhood and how those formative years shaped them. Lemme explain:
Green (The One of Many)
I imagine Green came from a household filled with many siblings. With their background of being a worm farmer, it wouldn't be out of the ordinary for their parents to have a big family (as more children = more helping hands on the job). Green is one of those many children. And, while I do feel Green's parents generally care for them, there is only so much attention they can give to any one of their kids at a given time. Major Judy Hopp's parents from Zootopia type vibes. They're loving, but ultimately not truly in tune with Green. And, in some ways, Green just was part of the conglomerate that is "our kids we care for and love". Not malicious by any means, but unintentionally lacking a personalization to foster a strong bond.
Green, for their part, wanted something more than this farming life. They wanted to be a captain. And perhaps, starting from whenever they made this desire known, it's what ultimately defined them in the family. Green stood out from their siblings in a way that their parents could pinpoint in something other than name. More than that though, it's something Green's entire village (which is where I imagine Green got a majority of their socialization and care from when their parents simply weren't available) could define them as. A novelty when the whole family, hell, maybe even the entire community, can be boiled down to 'kind, honest, and hard working worm farmers'.
Green stuck out from the many siblings they had, and I imagine that shift would be the start of a building tension. In a mix of sibling rivalry, financial heartship, and Green's own changing mindset, perhaps there would be a point in which failure could never be an option in Green's mind. They have to succeed at becoming a captain, or else they wasted all the time and scarce resources that the village could have used for something else on them specifically. Because going from one of many to THE ONE of many can be a perfect cauldron for impostor syndrome. That fear that, out of everyone, maybe they didn't deserve these opportunities they're getting. Especially if they have other siblings (or even just those in thier village community) that had smaller but much more attainable/realistic goals and dreams that would have been sidelined to help Green.
Imagine a world where Green finds out that, actually, the captain life didn't call to them the same way once they were well on track to getting there. But, now at this point, there is no backing out as it'd effectively be a slap in the face to everyone that gave up their resources for them. Green needs to be a captain, because the alternative is them being the failure that drained everyones' bank account for an unrealistic dream that a simple worm farmer had no buisness pursuing anyways.
White (The One and Only)
White is an only child, 100%. The kind of child that I imagine only came about because it was another mark on their parents checklist. Major rich power couple has child type of news. Expectantly, White wouldn't want for anything materialistically. They'd be fed, they'd be watered, and entertained by the many servants and devices shoved in their face. However, what they needed, the actual love and care of a present family member isn't something they'd ever get.
I imagine they weren't to a great college, maybe starred in a few movies (possible child actor?), and did things most beans could only dream of doing. They did things, but not because they were things they were passionate about or even particularly wanted to be. White feels like the type to do the thing that has least resistance and follow whatever their parents tell them to. "Get an education? Sure, why not a degree in communications or something. Oh, that's not good enough and I should take a degree in the sciences? Okay." They do things because 'why not'.
And, at some point, they'd realize that they don't really have any hobbies or much of a personality to make them interesting. Perhaps the only reason their funfact sucked so much, is because they legitimately couldn't think of anything that was worth telling. For White, if they truly believe the norm is yatchs, being on tv a lot, and getting a job at the head of a pharmaceutical company, then it says a lot that their funfact boils down to always waking up well rested for the day. Maybe in some way, the mundane and less extraordinary things in life is far more interesting to them?
Regardless, I can see White taking up the MIRA trip of all things really highlights their naivety and "why not" sort of attitude. I've no doubt if the cork was something like a free trip on some raggedy fishing boat to 'Sharks-Feeding-Ground' island, they would still go. Surely there can be more layers underneath such a choice, but I think I rambled enough.
That's my headcanons! Any thoughts or questions, feel free to throw them my way. Not sure if any of this made sense, but just wanted to put them out there so it's out of my head at least.

An AU centered around the idea of White being very unlike their canon self. Not due to any sort of alien parasite, but something far more sinister. An entitlement and form of limerence towards Green that most on the ship seem oblivious to. Not the usual flavor of paidintern out there, but I’ve been itching for something a bit darker.
I haven’t uploaded it yet, but I’ll probably make a tumblr post about it when I do.
So White’s goal is to turn everyone on the ship into impostors??? Do they get anyone??? Would it be a turn per episode instead of a death??

White’s goal is to ultimately turn everyone on the ship into impostors, yes. In this AU, White was always an impostor (even before ever getting on the Skeld). They initially succeed in converting both Orange and Green through purposefully crashing the ship. White, of course, would then go on to play up the socially unaware and idiot nepo child. A crewmate too dumb and out of touch to be anything but a mild annoyance to others. Meanwhile, White will have to juggle between keeping the current newly converted impostors from misbehaving and convincing unconverted crewmates to join them. A task harder said than done.
Now, whether they are successful enough to convert everyone in a timely manner (within the same time span of the episodes where impostors killed crewmates) is up in the air. Due to the very nature of persuasion itself, it would likely take longer. But, the more people they can change, perhaps the easier it becomes. Though, of the crewmates they have to turn, Lime and Purple would likely be the hardest.
Regardless, White is certain in their goal to make this a reality. The more impostors, the more allies, the less alone they’ll feel. Failure isn’t an option.
Last post for the day, but I made these two beans for a rp server (18+ demographic cause as an adult I rather role play with other adults) and I just felt proud of them. So, here they are! Fuchsia (on the left) and their sibling Magenta (on the right). My two favorite impostors.
I may yap about them some later, but just depends on if motivation strikes me to.
