The hour is too late for me to work, but too early for me to sleep, I am stuck in a limbo that only awesome literature and fanart can save me from!!

Or, put less dramatically, I needed something to do while I lay in bed tossing and turning, so I sketched The Seelie Queen, Isabelle Lightwood, and Jace&Clary.

2nd pic: after reading Lady Midnight my first comment to @cassandraclare was “WHY JOHNNY ROOK WHY”. My Second comment was “Girl I wanna see Jace and Clary’s super angel baby do battle against Emma and Jules super parabatai baby” (because after events in LM I’m assuming if a child did happen between parabatai it would be SUPER)

To which her response was something along the lines of “where do you come up with this stuff go to sleep”

Can we talk about this?? The piano is outside of J’s circle of knives, you can see it in the far end of the room in the movie. He’s supposed to have written this in his desperate loneliness.

This is a twisted, wrong-spelled and messy retelling of himself, Harley’s rise and her disappearance!!! Referring to himself as the “laff bringer” or laff. This is basically a love confession.

“She was now the queen of the laff bringer, ha ha! Together they were ordained to restore the true order of the wind and water.”

“But the Bat took the queen! Ha ha! And the laff bringer could laff no more! The quest has begun for the queen of laff. She is the one who cannot be remade. Her laff is the only truth.”

This is him saying that he can’t replace Harley with anyone. She is basically his whole world.

Jared said that this Joker is somewhat of a shaman, in touch with the universe and I’ve always been inclined to agree. I now understand why he said that.
