Just a little Ango n’ Mango doodle for @angusweek day 6: Relationships. Not to make this angsty but I think Magnus and Julia wanted kids but never had the chance and so Angus has kind of become Magnus’ adopted son because it’s what Julia would have wanted.

My tablet decided I wasn’t stressed enough today and conked out… So today, all the lines are traditional! I drew it in my sketchbook then popped it into Photoshop and bada bing bada boom here’s Angus with a puppy for @angusweek day 4, a free day! He’s asking Magnus if he can keep it because come on, Magnus can’t say no to Angus and especially not Angus with a puppy.

FIC: Foundation (AngusWeek!)

I FORGOT IT WAS @angusweek AND I NEED TO PARTICIPATE, HERE HAVE AN INTERLUDE FOR DAY 1: BACKSTORY.

Angus stepped through the doorway into the library, and like always, it sent an excited shiver up his spine; four stories tall and walled in a rich red wood, the circular tower sat at the far end of his grandfather’s manor. It was an addition that had been constructed when he was a young man, and subsequently added to as he’d grown older. The ornate balcony railings of the higher levels created strange shadows in the slices of light where the sun found its way through the shelves.

“You wanted to show me something, Grandpa?” Angus chirped. He loved visiting his grandpa. It always made him sound more his age, which, at nine years old, was something he actively worked against in most of his life.

His grandfather was very old, older than most anyone else Angus knew. He was thin and bony in that vaguely uncomfortable way that larger-bodied folk get when they grow older, and he had long since ceased to care about grooming his hair or his beard beyond simple washing and trimming. But he was still vital and keen-minded, and his eyes would glimmer behind his spectacles whenever he asked Angus a question or prompted him to speak his mind.

“Yes, m'boy,” Grandpa said, voice burring with his distinct brogue. “C'mere, take a look-see.”

Hey holy cow this is late!! @angusweek day 2: Favourite canon moment. I’m gonna be honest, I just really love Ango so I don’t particularly have a favourite canon moment but his whole characterization on Murder on the Rockport Limited is choice. I’ve already given my “Angus has one thousand bowties” headcanon, but here’s another headcanon: he has a big gap in his teeth and is ecstatic to meet Taako, this absolutely radical dude who also doesn’t have perfect teeth but doesn’t show any self conscious-ness about it.
