haru really screwed up this time. to be fair, he considers each day a series of convenient fuck ups, but this one really happens to be the cherry on top. his big mouth constantly gets him in trouble, and there certainly wasn’t a need for him to provoke anyone, especially a bitter police officer. yet, here he was, caught in a chase through the streets of the city with nothing but the clothes on his back. without a doubt this had to be the most interesting thing he’s managed to get himself into that day, but his poor calves were certainly going to feel the fatigue hiding behind the pumping adrenaline coursing through him.

it was then that he caught sight of a woman wearing a doctor’s coat in the near distance, his mind quickly calculating the slim chances of him getting out of this. “listen, quick question. do you believe in good karma?” it’s the first thing that tumbles from his lips, pants of exhaustion emitting from the pink haired male as he looked at the doctor with desperation laced within his voice. “in about forty five seconds a really, really pissed off cop is going to turn around the corner. he’d leave me alone if he sees me limping with a legit doctor, so... it’d be an act of kindness if you could play along. a massive one.”

hansung likes to get up with the sun. on most days. if he was by himself, he would have been up ages ago, the sun barely peeking out over the horizon. with haru here though, he thinks it’s okay to stay in just a little bit later than normal. he would deny that he had been staring at haru while he slept, eyes closing when he sees his best friend arch in the bed. he would deny that he watches him wake upevery time he’s over, honestly.

there’s a lot of things he knows about him and haru’s relationship, but his own feelings is not one of them. what he can’t deny is how his heart races when he sees how peaceful his normally wild best friend is in his sleep.

han lets out a deep groan when he’s kicked, faking being woken up before returning the kick lightly. “i get cold easily, you know that,” he grumbles, curling into himself with a little gasp at the cold that hits his skin. “rude– you were sleeping just fine without the covers, and this is my bed.” the leader scoots closer to haru and shoves a hand beneath the covers, searching for haru’s arm and pulling him close. he doesn’t know why they weren’t practically cuddling anyways. they’re always wrapped up in each other somehow, and now shouldn’t be any different. hansung shoves a leg beneath the covers as well, throwing his other leg and arm over the top of them to hold the giant lump of blankets that was haru close, pushing their foreheads together. “much better.”

haru couldn’t help the urge to roll his eyes at his best friend’s words, simply pulling the covers around himself even tighter. hell, he was going to absolutely enjoy this warmth to the fullest. and maybe hansung’s company. he could spend every damn day with the him and he’d never find room to complain. it’s clear enough in the way he can barely keep himself from grinning like a lost idiot.

“too damn bad. not my problem,” haru’s fond expression quickly slips into a playful one so easily, as it always is with the other male. a shocked yelp comes from him the moment hansung wraps his fingers around his arm to pull him in to his chest, the elder of the two making a useless show of struggling against his hold. “oh, sure. your wish is my command and all that bullshit.” haru let out an exaggerated sigh that betrayed his obviously smitten gaze, finally throwing all resistance out the window and pulling the covers up to cover the both of them.

haru lets his eyelids flutter shut at the feeling of their foreheads pressed together, a gesture between the two that constantly brings comfort to the pink haired male. he takes in a deep breath before nuzzling his face in the crook of hansung’s neck, gripping onto the other’s baggy shirt without even registering the action. “i’m not doing any of your shit today. good luck getting me out of this bed. consider this my resignation, boss.”

she closed her eyes and tilted her head back, enjoying imaginary heat coming from a green light in the distance. she was humming slightly, the melody of an overplayed song on the radio, and her arms dangled from her sides as she twirled alone in the abandoned street. dancing her way closer and closer to the green light–like a moth drawn to a flame. she was fuzzy and floaty. she reveled in the blurriness, and she loved the irrational thrill of ruining her night and her well-being. a man from bhadralok block had called her princess and gifted her a handful of pastel blue pills. delightedly, she’d swallowed the whole thing with a shot of tequila and floated her way to some unfamiliar turf in seoul. she heard a figure approaching from behind, but her floaty, usually sharp, mind didn’t suspect danger. she smiled, happy to have someone to dance with. she twirled back to grab the figure’s hand and swung them around, still humming. “fine night for waltzing,” she murmured serenely.

late grocery runs are something that haru considers himself quite well at pulling off. it somehow fits him just perfectly, as someone who’s so far from the conventional way of living as it is. he was just walking back to his grubby excuse of a home from an exceptionally uneventful evening when he came across a wavering young woman. a fellow slave lost to the night, he assumed without another thought to it, readjusting his grip on the plastic bags in his hands before continuing his trek. her movements were undeniably a bit too carefree, irregular steps taken without any precautions behind them. she somehow looked so at home under the flickering lights, yet entirely out of place for some unspeakable reason. a small grin found its way to his lips, knowing the glazed over look within the girl’s gleaming irises all too well. his amused expression glows underneath the canvas of the streetlight before him. “a lovely night for anything, sure,” haru mused easily, only letting a string of bubbling laughter fall from his mouth just in time for the girl to take his hand in hers. he went along with the dancing, because haru is never one to give up the making of a memory. “i’ll take one order of whatever you’re on. maybe a double. it’s been a tough week.”

dazed &. confused

haru really detested being woken up before he was ready to start his day. he truly loves his sleep and at this moment, he hated the curtains of hansung’s room for allowing the morning light to seep in. he blinks away sleep after a few moments to grumbling about it, letting out a long, exhausted yawn as he arched back up against the bed. it was just so nice to be laying on a mattress that wasn’t his own, especially when he’d grown long accustomed to a cardboard like bed supporting his back.

he takes a few seconds to himself to stare up at the ceiling, his surroundings really confirming that he somehow ended up in his best friend and leader’s bed once more. in fact, this happens so often, it was weird when haru wasn’t with the other male.

“you still hog all the fucking covers, han. you’re dead to me,” his voice is raw with fatigue, the heavy blanket of sleep still lingering as he kicked the other’s foot uselessly. he then grabbed for the covers himself, pulling it over himself without caring that he left his friend with nothing. haru only cracks one eye open again to smirk a bit at the other, just a trace of mischievousness obvious in his words.“hey. fuck off. i’m asleep.”

gnhee:

normally, gunhee is pretty damn alert. he doesn’t know how to bring his guard down but with the alcohol pumping in his system and the lack of a lover to bring home for the night, he’s pretty defenseless, walking through the streets alone. it’s not often that he lets himself go and there’s no special occasion, shit just happens.

he dips into an alleyway to take a shortcut back to his shitty living space at the 88, leaving the street light and melting into the dark alley. gunhee can’t see his own hands when he looks down, but he can still hear the little buckles on his boots jingling, and his leather jacket rustling as he walks. maybe taking a shortcut in the dead of night was a bad idea, especially alone, because although he’s pretty big, he felt hands slide around his waist and mouth and drag him further into the alley. the alcohol dampened his reaction time, and by the time he tried to cry out it was a little too late, muffled into a hand.

luckily he’s much bigger than whoever tried to snatch him up, jerking away with a quick jab of his elbow into a soft stomach and stumbling a few feet away. “what the fuck?”

he should have known it’d be a bad idea to go out bar hopping with gunhee. it always ended up with some kind of mess in the end and this time was no different. one second he’s sitting right next to the taller male, the next he’s alone in a bar with a whopping bill to cover all on his own. of course, naturally, the one thing he decided on doing was getting his revenge in the best way possible. as roommates, haru was pretty familiar with the way gunhee usually took home, the two of them liked taking a shortcut to get back to their run down complex.

haru waited right around the corner of the dim alley, just waiting for the usual clicks and clacks of gunhee’s incredibly irritating boots. god, did haru hate them.

he timed his surprise attack just at the right moment, which proved to be a fairly tough task considering the buzz he was feeling from the alcohol he did get to down that night. he dragged the younger male back into the alley, letting out a low groan at the hit gunhee managed to get to his stomach. “what the fuck?” haru mimicked the other’s voice with his eyes narrowed in annoyance, stepping forward and jabbing his finger into gunhee’s chest. “i’m smothering you tonight, asshole. and changing the lock.”

aaand i’m super late. as per usual. i apologize for that, i had a super hectic weekend. anyways, hi everyone! let me introduce you to the dumbass extraordinaire known as ahn haru. he can be found in the red sentinels as the resident lookout/errand guy/anything you’d like for a good price. definitely a mess. i’ve got some lil tidbits about him under the cut until i get his pages together. i’d totally be down for any plotting, so give this a like and i’ll slide on over!
