Kyojuro is the one who initiates the first kiss. When it happened, Giyuu even covered his mouth and Kyojuro, like the gentleman he is, backed off. He told Giyuu that it’s okay. It’s fine if they don’t do it right now. Tells Giyuu that they can do it when he’s ready.
Giyuu never forgot that and after a week or so of thinking about it he gathers as much courage as he can muster and walks over to Kyojuro.
