Haven't made a big piece in a while but I think I got a process now, that is BGs before the character shading XD This time I made Dryrna's shoulders and forearms more gemstone-y which I think look WAY more attractive :D

Long ago I made a comic for @sohanimations because he wanted an idea for a comic and then later I reskinned it for a birthday gift. To redeem my laziness (and to show my drawing improvement since) I created this sequel with the ending left open to interpretation.

This started out purely for shading practice, as I've wanted to try a different style to doing hair that I adopted from Monster Girl Encyclopedia's. It's really helped, however I got carried away and did a full blown piece XD

I didn't come up with the premise in the beginning, but it ended up with this pose and expression.

The idea I came up with was LyDia being drunk on milk (indicated by the carton on the bottom) complaining about something, either about some other drunk or just being bored and wanting to ditch the place. However, to everyone else all she's saying are sqeeks which makes the situation hilarious XD This piece was uploaded one day earlier on my Patreon for Patrons only, additionally there is an alternate version for Patron-eyes only!

I can say with full confidence as opposed to last year that I really did one major piece per month (except for October because birthdays) due to being busy with school. I should probably do a journal update on all of that, probably once I get a reel of my projects going. This year had more experimentation going on, trying out different styles both in drawing and colouring/shading, not to mention the type of piece itself (i.e. December). I attempted to do fanart each month but I fell back to doing original stuff for I felt more inspired there. New OCs being established and improvement on painting and drawing in general (partially thanks to school), I'm quite content with how things have turned out this year.

I had some inspiration to draw LyDia in warmer clothes, considering what she usually wears can be pretty chilly in the fall and winter! Not exactly canon to the main story she's in so more of just a fun thing and an opportunity to design cute girly warmy clothes of warmth (っ´ω`c)♡
