Plot ideas.   

🤗 Send if you’d be interested in plotting a thread where are muses are strictly platonic but are extremely close, they are practically family to each other.  

😊 Send if you’d be interested in plotting a thread where our muses are related by blood. A child/parent,  siblings,  etc.  The relationship can either be good or bad or in between.  

🥰  Send if you’d be interested in plotting a thread where our characters are childhood friends.  Could involve a one sided or mutual crush.

The smile immediately fell off his face, the disappointment and heartbreak that replaced his excitement was something only a five year old could produce over something so small. 

He turns his gaze down towards the lizard in his hands, bottom lip quivering in a pout. “But he’s my friend…and nee-chan said I could keep him as long as I promise to take care of him….”

Enji wasn’t oblivious. He knew his son was broken over Enji’s refusal. It was a strange feeling, seeing the sadness his son experienced become his own. “Natsuo…He’s a wild lizard and needs to stay outside. That’s where his home is and that’s where he’s happy. You can visit him in the garden but he can’t stay in the house.” 

His little shoulders drooped and he dropped his gaze once more to look down at the lizard. He knew on some level that his dad was right and he should let the lizard go, but he had grown attached to the little creature in the small time since he’d caught it. He didn’t want to lose it.

He lets out a tiny sigh and nods gently. “Okay...” he said, voice quivering slightly. He sniffs and wipes his eyes with the back of his hand before looking back up at Enji. “Will you go with me to let him go...?”

A small giggle escaped him, and he quickly put his hand over his mouth to muffle the sound before he put his fingers to his lips and shushed his father loudly. “I’m hiding from Nee-chan. She said something about going shopping and I don’t wanna goooo...!”

Enji turned his attention towards his giddy son. Watching him, his eyes couldn’t help but wander to the serpentine creature. She said he could keep that? Dammit. What was the right way to break the news to him? Was there a right way?

“It’s…nice.” Off to a superb start. “But it needs to go back outside. That’s his home and…he’ll be homesick if you keep him here.”
