Fur coat type: thick, long or medium-length.

The White Swiss Shepherd is of medium size, with a weight in the range 25–40 kg and a height at the withers usually between 53 and 66 cm.[3]: 68  Two types of coat are seen, medium-length and long; the coat is always white, preferably with dark skin.

The eyes range from light to dark brown and are almond-shaped; the ears are erect, forward-pointing, triangular, and slightly rounded at the tips.

Its herding abilities are similar to those of the German Shepherd. Registration is not subject to a working trial.

Average Lifespan: 10-14 years

Health issues this breed are prone to:

-Hip & Elbow dysplasia, which is more common in larger dog breed.

-Skin sensitivities and allergies.

-Bloat (Gastric Dilatation-Volvulus), particularly common in larger breeds such as the Rottweiler, Standard-size poodle, Great Dane, German Shepherd, etc.

-Osteoarthritis

-Cancer

-Haemophilia, Epilepsy, and Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency.

-Cruciate Ligament Rupture.

Exercise needs:

1 to 2 hours of moderate-intensity level as they get bored easily.

A White Swiss Shepherd is a separate, but related breed to the German Shepherd, they are more docile in comparison.

The White Swiss Shepherd Dog (WSSD), also known as the "Berger Blanc Suisse", is a medium-sized, active, and intelligent breed with a white coat, originating from the same lineage as the German Shepherd Dog (GSD).

While sharing a common history, the WSSD was developed as a distinct breed, recognized by the FCI in the 1990s, and is known for its friendly temperament, loyalty, and suitability as a family companion.

They require significant daily exercise and mental stimulation to prevent boredom and destructive behaviors.
