Full Name: Phillip Andrew Wellington
Birthplace: Portland, Oregon
TRIGGERS: UNDERAGE DRINKING, ADDICTION, DEATH
Phillip was the son of two modest business owners in the wacky city of Portland. Phillip wouldn’t say he was rich, but he definitely couldn’t argue if someone described him and his family as ‘well-off’. The boy grew up in a beautiful, perfectly white, two-story house right in the middle of the city. His parents were constantly busy with meetings and the daily task of tending to their respective stores. Even though they hated being away from their only son, they had to make an income somehow. Phillip replaced his parents’ affection with alcohol. Night after night, he could be found drinking in any bars that would let him in.
Phillip realized he had a drinking problem when he couldn’t remember the last night’s events. He wasn’t sure why he had so many bruises on his body, or why there was a bloody girl beside him in his bed. This wasn’t like his usual morning, something had gone terribly wrong, and he didn’t even know what. He turned to ask the girl, but when he tapped her shoulder, he was suddenly filled with fear. The female’s body was completely motionless. Her body lay rigid beside him and her eyes wide open.
She was dead. Dead. In Phillip’s house, no, to make matters worse, his parents’ house. Phillip’s first thought was to hide the body. He had never been a man of much thinking, so he acted on the idea. Where to put it? That was the question of the hour. Phillip ran to his car, her body laying lifeless in his arms. He drove to a quaint park he used to go to with his parents. Due to the early hour, the park was free of people.
Phillip got out of his car and raced to a patch of trees. He placed the stranger’s body on the ground and began to pour the surrounding dirt over her. He was almost done with the job when realization started to kick in. What was he doing? Who was this girl? She was once a daughter, perhaps a loving sister and friend. She was young too, and now her life was gone. Phillip leaned down and kissed the corpse. If you asked him why, he wouldn’t be able to answer. The action was done out of pure guilt and grief.
Phillip headed home afterwards and attempted to clean up his bedroom, or should I say, crime scene. This step of Phillip’s growing plan was actually pretty easy. All he had to do was wash a few sheets and blankets. Next, Phillip started packing. He wasn’t sure where he was going, but he knew he wouldn’t be home when his parent’s got back from their business trip.
Animated wasn’t Phillip’s first choice, more like his last resort. It was close to Portland and full of empty apartments. Phillip thought the minute he reached the town, everyone would be on to him and his dirty secret, but no seemed to notice the way he constantly fidgeted and turned away. And if they did, they passed it off as him just being shy. Phillip is quite the outcast at his new high school, but he couldn’t care less. After all, he has bigger things to worry about.
Fortunately for you, Phillip Wellington is open.
