i wasn’t satisfied with the last comic list, so here’s an updated version

consider this a sort of “season 1” of comics, since this would technically be episodes in terms of miraculous ladybug

I kinda don’t like the direction the story is going…already….from part 1….so I might halt that or just stop it and work on other things for the au. hope that’s not disappointing…..probably not cause I posted one damn part 😭

got any pronouns for the sticks?

I prefer to the majority of the sticks as “they”. I believe most of them can be any gender, so I just use neutral pronouns for them! People are obviously allowed to call them whatever gender they prefer on my blog. That being said, I headcanon Blue to be androgynous.

here’s also a little fun fact about how I draw the sticks faces cause I just thought about how I changed that

all of their faces are somewhat different, or miss a facial feature

I usually draw red with only their mouth and that little line blush. I usually draw green with only their eye outline or eyebrow and mouth. yellow has their mouth, one eye on their right, and one eyebrow on their left. same for blue, but reversed.

by the way did I mention I gave yellow and blue beauty marks

edit: I might also remake the first part of the comic later since it doesn’t really fit my artstyle anymore and plus I think I can do better on it

Color Gang (re)designs (and their Miraculouses)

felt extra artistic so I ended up giving the color gang miraculous forms…plus a bit of a redesign of their usual selves which is basically just them with extra lines but you get the point

it’s a little zoomed out eek….also I might change things about their designs later but for now this is uh…yeah

I know it's absolutely not gonna be the case, but my brain said this morning "What if the Spider Kwami's name is Webby? Like Webby Vanderquack."

(my brain has also been trying to guess the transformation phrase and I've got is "spin the threads". Again, I know this ain't gonna be the case, but it's very funny to think about)

ive been thinking about that and the spider kwami would probably just be something simple like Webb or Silkk since kwami names are simple overall. doesn’t have to be super special

as for the transformation phrase, the one you thought of is pretty much the same as the one I was thinking of 😭 I just used “weave my” instead of “spin the”.

thinking about that sort of stuff is pretty fun

realized I want the AU to be longer (season and lore wise) and extend it past one season and then I remembered I wrote a potential season 1 and 2 for that type of thing so I might expand on that. so far, season 1 for the extend has 14 episodes (??) and season 2 has 16 episodes (??), so I’ll expand on that since I can’t exactly do all of that in a singular comic. i also wanna design akumatized villains for most of them cause I have ideas and wanna draw them and some of the episodes are renamed so ack

A llittle silly question as someone who has seen it be a thing in colleges I've checked out, is the college the sticks go to filled with stalls from popular food organizations in their area? Where I come from, there's stalls from Shakeys or Waffle House, so is there anything like that where they can get food during break times?

I dunno, I guess I'm just wondering about Corndog Guy lol

it probably would be! yeah they would get food during break times (except maybe yellow who might be eating and typing on their laptop.) tbh corndog guy probably sells everywhere somehow lmao that’s one of my headcanons that he can be literally anywhere. the sticks probably eat corndogs and/or curly fries for most of their breaks.

So I have a few questions now that we have some delicious tidbits of lore:

If the cast is all early adult ages, does that mean they can use their powers multiple times?

Can I call Yellow and Blue twins since they're siblings in this AU? Or is one of them older than the other? (Yellow and Blue being twins is a headcanon I've had ever since my friend introduced them to me lol)

Do the main cast live with their parents? This question especially concerns Second and some art I'm making for him in particular

1- they can use their powers multiple times! because they can, they have an alternate to a 5 minute de-transformation. the more they use their powers, the weaker either they or their power gets. simply put, they can’t spam it. if they do, depending on what miraculous they wear, it can tire them out to use a power too much or the power can start to become ineffective. this side effect is for all the miraculouses, which means dark can’t just spam spiders unless powered by another force.

2- you can call them twins! I do think Blue would be a little older than Yellow, though I do think they would’ve looked almost exactly the same (outside of the obvious hex color difference) when they were baby sticks.

3- since they’re college age, they probably live in a college dorm. they don’t get to escape going to school in this au 😔. all of them visit their parents often however.
