Maybe you were one of the lucky ones not on tumblr to not have seen there were rude fans upset about the ending that wanted the series banned (or to have a narusaku ending). It had nothing to do with your ship unless some of your fellow shippers signed it because they were mad sasunaru didn’t happen. I felt it didn’t stand a chance romantically because neither character viewed each other in a romantic light and that is canon. Doesn’t stop someone from shipping and it’s not a bad thing for them to ship it anyways. Why would Naruto be banned over Sasuke and Naruto’s friendship/bond anyways? Before tossing around the words homophobe or homophobic be sure the person in question isn’t bisexual, asexual or homosexual themselves because in some cases that person may ship and defend heterosexual couples no problem. Calling them a homophobe over shipping or because you didn’t read up on the issue at hand is just ignorant. Many people deal with that sort of serious issue daily and you’re making light of it. You were very quick to assume because of my ships that I was homophobic when you’ve been proven wrong. Not everything is about your ship but you obviously think it is. People have different tastes. No one is obligated to like any ship. Some people don’t ship anything and don’t believe in any ship so aren’t they also “the problem”? Do you want a pat on the back for supposedly thinking every ship had a chance? Yet, you clearly felt sasunaru had the best chance with them being “soul mates” and whatever else you brought up about your ship preference.
