"Here's your breakfast, kiddo."

Baek slid the plate of a sunny side up to me, smiling like the face on my meal.

"Thanks, Baek." I smiled back at him. His eyes somehow twinkled when I replied his smile. A turn of the heart, but I regard it as excitement of watching somebody consume his own work.

I cut a small piece of the crispy and slightly oily bacon and combined it with the yolk of the egg. Baekhyun anticipated my reaction.

I kept chewing, making a thinking face. It was only to tease him but I could see his expression slightly fall down. His smile slowly faded as I took too long to react.

"I-is it not good?" He slightly stuttered.

Finally, I couldn't take it anymore and bursted out laughing. Baek caught up fast, he wasn't like the people who would ask "What? What's wrong? Why are you laughing?" He was always catching up fast.

His expression stoned with boring eyes, "Wow, that's really lame." My laughter died down and he continued, "But really, how is it?" 

How is it? I thought in my head. Well, of course, its good. No taste of sunny side up could be ruined. But really, what I was thinking of was, how did I feel about him making me breakfast. It actually felt like something.

So, how is it?

I liked the feeling. 

He seemed sincere.

He cares about me.

I don't feel like I'm drowned in his sea of companions anymore. 

Not this time, I don't.
