This post will kind of serve as a reference point of my art journey -
The improvement over 4 years as well as the certainty that there is still room to grow

I realize that I rarely post some of my non digital art here on tumblr. I still regularily paint on paper instead of a screen. I just never post those works since they are heavily derivative of other art pieces / photographs. I always try to credit but since I find most of my references on pinterest it is often difficult to find the original source. This is the case here as well. However, I feel like the painting itself is enough of my own that I can post this without problem. The inspiration/ reference is the photograph next to it, even though I couldn‘t find the photographer. The style is of course heavily inspired by Claude Monet.

Do you still have Harry Potter art on your blog? Just went to look for more in your tags but it's coming up blank? xx
I had Harry Potter Fanart on this blog for a while. However, I took all of it down because of J. K. Rowlings actions during the past years. I just don‘t feel comfortable supporting HP and by extension her in any way, shape or form.
I visited the „Gärten der Welt“ in Berlin with my parents a couple years ago. I recently rediscovered some the pictures I took during the trip. I used one of them as reference for this.
