Ah, I'd love to share my experience with you and introduce you to the lovely world of art!

This semester was made enjoyable by taking Art Appreciation. It like a flower in a field of grass. As a result of the fact that this is the only course that didn't make me feel heavy and anxious. I truly appreciate the professor for making the class enjoyable by including the use of gamification to increase student engagement. Through watching and commenting on other people's works, this class and subject let me express myself better and interact with others. Every piece of art I've created has a special place in my digital heart. They stand for inspiration, snippets of the imagination, and a yearning for human contact. Compared to the other classes I've taken so far, this one Art Appreciation subject will stick out in my memory. May we all be inspired to produce and offer the world our own distinctive artistic perspectives.

In the Philippines' capital city of Manila, San Sebastian Church is a magnificent example of Gothic Revival architecture and a reminder of the nation's lengthy history. The church, which was constructed in the late 19th century, is named for Saint Sebastian, the patron saint of athletes.

The elaborate and beautiful façade of San Sebastian Church is one of its most outstanding features. Numerous lancet windows, which are small, pointed windows that resemble a lance, embellish the church's façade. The way these windows are positioned adds to the church's overall splendor and produces a dramatic visual effect.

Another important aspect of the church's Gothic Revival architecture is its pointed arches. These arches are intended to attract the eye up, giving the impression of height and majesty. Slender columns that support the arches give the church a sense of verticality and lightness.

Visitors are welcomed by a beautiful display of vaulted ceilings inside the church. These vaults are built to resemble the ribs of a whale and are constructed of reinforced concrete and masonry. The vaults are supported by thin columns that reach the ceiling, giving the room a feeling of height and space.

The exquisite stained glass windows at San Sebastian Church are another noteworthy aspect. In addition to depicting religious people and scenes, these windows also show moments from Saint Sebastian's life. When the sun shines through the glass, the colors and patterns produce a breathtaking effect that adds to the church's overall splendor.

San Sebastian Church is a genuine Gothic Revival architectural marvel. Its elaborate lancet windows, pointed arches, vaulted ceilings, and stained glass windows combine to make a place that is both lovely and inspiring. Every element of the church demonstrates its age and distinction, making it a must-see location for everyone interested in Philippine history and architecture.

Martinez's "Child of War" is the piece of art that has my interest. I adored it because it portrays the horrifying effects of military conflict on innocent populations, especially children. The painting's power comes from its capacity to draw attention to the terrible effects of war, particularly on those who are most vulnerable. Additionally, I think that this painting presents a fresh and provocative version of this classic image.

Since the definition of art has evolved throughout the years, it has been said that its goals include representing reality, conveying thoughts or feelings, evoking a sense of beauty, examining the basis of perception, examining formal components for their own sake, or simply being nonexistent.

What Is Art? by Tolstoy offers a definition of what art is. He said that “Art is a human activity, consisting in this, that one person intentionally, by specific external signals, conveys to others feelings he has experienced, and other people are touched by these sentiments and live them over in themselves”.

For Pablo Picasso, "Art is a lie that makes us realize the truth, at least the truth that is given to us to understand". It means that the tangible reality in which artists and their audiences both reside can be changed through the creative process, as can societal attitudes and sensitivities.

These and a variety of other things are what art is. Art has the ability to transcend a solipsistic perspective on life and to relate to the world and one another with greater integrity, curiosity, and wholeheartedness. Thus, it enriches our life in an unlimited number of ways.
