Finally finished, royal family portrait! Just as the campaign is finished as well 😅 Anyway, some background for the royal family: 👑 Dallas IV, current monarch. His rule is a time of peace (and prosperity for some). Has terrible luck with wives, each of them left this world after giving birth to one daughter. Is he cursed or something? Nonetheless, the King dreams of glorious deeds, to become a legend like his ancestors. The dragon who appeared in the kingdom is a perfect opportunity for that. Is Dallas prepared to face it in battle and not die? He’s the king who didn't have a chance to seriously fight in his life, the answer is obvious. 🕌 Princess Dalila, contrary to appearances the oldest daughter - elves don't grow up that fast. As the heir of the Queen who came from the homeland of the Cult of Mysatra, she currently lives in the main temple in Kastalpur, preparing to take over the responsibilities of the head of the Church when she comes of age. 🪓 Princess Danusia, the middle princess. Her mother hailed from a nation of giants from the Gray Peaks. Some time ago, the giants went to war with the Kingdom and would have destroyed it, but the chieftain's daughter spotted a young king who caught her eye. She wished to marry him, so her father proposed peace if this condition is met. Now Danusia, as her successor, lives in Gray Peaks with her grandfather Olgrim, learning to lead her people, as required by the treaty. ⚜️ Princess Dagna, the youngest princess. Her mother arrived at court with a small entourage, to become the third Queen. Among the crowd was her cousin, who took this opportunity to change something about her life, and went on to become the royal hunter at King’s castle. Happiness of the Royal Couple did not last long, as the Queen perished shortly after giving birth to the third princess. Rumours say that after Queen’s passing, the King sought solace in the game, fouler rumours say he sought it in the arms of the gamekeeper. It doesn’t matter now, since a few years ago a hunting accident took her life as well, and now the court mostly moved on to other gossip. Dagna is assumed to ascend the throne as the next ruler when the time comes. ⚔️ …and Clara. We don’t talk about Clara. She’s not even really a princess.

An unexpected return(around)! I have never attempted to make a functional turnaround before, it was scary but also fun. Anyway, Varen now has (more or less) official model sheet!

Sooooo a new character! Meet Clara, an idealistic warrior who aims to protect the defenceless and serve the kingdom. (And to win a bit of gold occasionally, fiiiine. But only to better protect the others!). Does not talk about her father and DOES NOT look suspiciously similar to the King, thank you very much. Heroic deeds are what’s important anyway and that is how she intends to write her story. Or die trying, that’s a possibility.

In this campaign we are playing Zabić Smoka!, a Polish rules-light system by Hexy Studio. Currently available in Polish only I believe.

So, the campaign is officially finished, but my buffer of fanarts is not!

This scene is not from the final session but from the mid-finale, when our group "infiltrated" the base of an anti-corporate organisation, located under an exclusive night club. The first time we met Zjava (https://anjona-art.tumblr.com/post/707177066330783744/anyway-the-current-campaign-i-play-in-is-black) face to face as well, and foiled her plans of spreading black code through insect-like microbots. Fun times.

Also, I was co-GMing this one, and got to kinda betray the party, I have fond memories.
