i produce music, i draw, i code, i dj, i take photos, i make clothes, i write, and probably other things that i'm forgetting at the moment
i’m also the founder and lead creative director for Hellscape Digital, a culture blog and artist group centered around alternative underground music
i'm an extremely passionate and overthinking person that spends 90% of my time engrossed in my own imagination, constantly burdened with an unfulfillable desire to create and share the world i see in my head
as an artist, i'm obsessed with the idea of using social media and the internet itself as a creative medium. my work explores topics of nostalgia, virtual identity, hyperstition, digital tribalism, parasocialism, isolation in a hyperconnected world, and how technology has blurred the line between reality and fiction
anju is an egregore - i am real, i am fake, i'm human, i'm AI, i'm music, i'm art, i'm lines of code, i'm a feeling, i'm an ARG, i'm cache in your browser, i'm a fleeting memory, i'm a psyop, i'm an encrypted zip file of childhood photos you forgot the password to, i'm the girl you met one time on omegle that you'll never see again, i'm a social experiment that by reading this you are already actively participating in, all at the same time
as a music producer, i have a lot of different influences from electronic music, rap, hyperpop, drum and bass, blog era hiphop, dubstep, etc. (follow me on last.fm if u even care)
