Hi!!! It's the A81 phone screen background anon (still using them! Four years. They bring me so much joy). I know I'm early but I wanted to send well wishes for the new year.
I hope you're doing well. You have no obligation to post (and never do, this isn't about that), but since it's been a while I wanted to make sure that you're alright, and if not, I hope things look up soon.
As for my quest to be a better artist: I'm still far from your level of skill, but I'm much closer than I was! I'm way better at colour, for starters. Your work continues to inspire, and I hope that this year I can learn to work some of the lighting you're so brilliant with.

Thank you so much :'). I do not have sufficient skills to tell you how much you saying "you have no obligation to post" means - one of the reasons I do not post is because I feel like I HAVE to. Anyone who has ever been trapped in this paradox knows how hard it is to escape.
Past years have not treated me well, but I'm picking my life back up. I'm happy your art journey is going well! And even if sometimes you think it's not, it's good that it's going :'D. I follow many small artists and I am always amazed by people's progress. If you ever decide to share your art with me, I am curious to see it. If you don’t want to, there is no obligation, of course. I'm sorry for taking so long to respond - the last month has been, well, hell, and things are getting progressively worse. I'm only now regaining my strenght.
For what it's worth - your words mean a lot to me. It gives me hope that even though the world as I know it has fallen apart, I still have a capability to bring if not joy, then a spark of interest to someone's day.
To everyone - please don't hesitate to ask or dm me, I promise I won't take so long again to respond (unless they isolate us for good :') ). Human interaction is good for not going insane, I think. Here, have a Mark for your troubles :D! (I published him on twitter but not here, I think)
