without a voice. [ open ]
Well this is awkward.
When Tsuyukusa had awoke, he had felt a difference in his entire being to begin with. Having to lived as a demon all his life, it was difficult not to notice that he was not currently in the body that so easily separated himself from being a human. Not to mention the pair of wings on this body that her was occupying made it the entire ordeal even more irritable.
Having seen the face before, the⊠once male had already so simply stepped out of the girlâs dorm room in order to find the location of his body. With blue eyes scanning the area for any sign of life, the young male was all more than ready to shout at the first person he caught eye of in order to gain some kind of information.
Unfortunately enough, as soon as the usually very loud-mouthed brat parted his lips to speak, not a single word came from his mouth. Oh. Hell. No.
Being a demon known for speaking without any sense of both hesitation or consequence, this had filled his annoyance to the brim.
And now, what those probably previously seen as nothing more than innocent little blond girl with a pair of wings on her back â an angel â would now be seen approaching whoever just may be near. And based off of the current expressions, it was easy to tell that whoever was in charge of this body was not a happy camper.
And with little to no mannerism at all, Tsuyukusa had so boldly pointed at said person with hope of grabbing their attention.
Yeah. You. Get over here. Now.
Before he learns just how physically weak this body is, too.
"...---"
Upon waking up, Nill felt.. weird. Out of it? It felt different than how her body normally did, and her first concern was over if she had caught some sort of illness or not. But, upon making her way to the washroom to wash her face, she would look up at the mirror to see somebody else. Eyes would widen, a hand reaching up to the reflection, then to herself -- or himself, now. Though it hadn't yet hit her that she could speak now, not being used to that sort of thing. It had .. become normal for her to stay quiet no matter what, since even if she tried, nothing would come out.Â
Upon leaving the building on confused, wobbly feet like a newborn deer, the girl-turned-boy would hear the pitter pattering of shoes against cement grounds, turning around to see none other than herself.Â
Once again, her eyes would grow wide, and so would the other's as they stared down their own body -- except they weren't the one in it.Â
" Ah.. !? "
Softly, the girl inside the demon's body would gasp, and hands would fly up over her mouth as she heard herself -- it wasn't her own voice, but she heard it. And for a moment, she completely forgot about her surroundings. About her own very self standing directly in front of her. Quietly, slowly, she would mumble with this new-found voice, growing louder and louder. Though her speech wasn't fluent since she had never actually spoken before, the words were comprehensible.
" How.. how? "
Although the voice wasn't her own -- it would never be her own -- it came out in quiet, feminine squeaks. She kept repeating that one word until she felt something wet slide down her cheeks. She didn't have to check to know what they were. Sinking to her knees, she would begin to sob, covering her face as the feelings overwhelmed her. To feel a voice hum deep in her throat, to hear herself speak at will .. to hear herself. Even if it wasn't her own .. she never knew something like this could happen.
To hear her own sobs, to hear her own whimpers as she cried .. it only brought more tears to flow down. Nothing else existed to her during this moment.Â
" Nill, " she would say with a cracked voice. " Nill. I am Nill. " The more she said it the more she cried, to the point where she could no longer speak through choked sobs -- through all this, she hadn't yet once questioned how in the world this could have possibly happened. Not once.
