Cozy afternoon  (buy as print)

'They watched the gentle red light reflect on the leaves and the curling smoke from the incense burner as it trailed out of the window. Of all the places they had visited so far, this one was the first that felt like home. They tried to figure out why, weighing experiences and thinking of logical reasons—the temperature was pleasant, the people welcoming and the food very good. But then again, this was true for the other places as well. So maybe it was more a feeling of belonging. With that thought, they dozed off into a peaceful nap.'

Part of a story about travelling and finding a new home I'm currently working on. The main character is a yet unnamed Numbat. (If you've never seen one of those, google them, they are so cute!)

Self Waterer

First plant of a little practice project I started in early 2017; made up a whole background story together with my partner about an researcher named Finley E. Pines, who is studying the strange flora on a newly discovered island. In the end, life and work got in the way, but I still wanted to share the plants drawings.
