Q: If EXO becomes a movie, what genre would it be? And what's the movie genre of your life gonna be?
Lay: Action movie, we obviously reflect on the action one. When looking back start from the debut, EXO walked on every road: it's like historical plays- historical action movies. Not like typical historical stories before, so it's definitely an action movie. My life... it's complicated, I hope (his life's movie) at the beginning is plain and simple youth, then, in the end, will become an outstanding person's story.
Q: What's your favorite lyric?
Lay: I like the "Lucky One" singing line and my singing lines.
Q: When and where is your favorite time and place to spend the whole day?
Lay: I like to sleep when I don't have any schedule. There are many places that I liked; hotels and many various places. I liked foreign countries, South Korea is a foreign country for me too, but I said the foreign countries besides China and South Korea. Because in foreign countries people didn't know me, I can experience other's cultures and also they are very free, leisurely and carefree. These are all cultural differences, and I want to experience these different cultures.
Q: Are you like travelling?
Lay: It depends. I really wanna go traveling, recently I got a chance to go to England, and wanna go once again. The sky in that place is beautiful, not raining. It is really beautiful.
Q: Had you experienced a moment that broaden your perspective? When does that happen?
Lay: World is the same because we always living on the earth. But our occupations are different, first, we thought only caring about dancing and singing was enough, but besides that need concern about any kind of interpersonal relationship and business too.
Q: So, what do you wanted to be?
Lay: Become EXO's member, every time we announced EXO's album, I was so nervous and happy! Then really wanna know what our solo album gonna be like, if there's any chance later, I want to announce my solo album! (you already did now and become a successful soloist in China and world ,Yixing <3)
Q: When do you feel yourself already becoming an adult?
Lay: As time goes on, there's a change in my manner and mentality when handling things, feeling growing up a lot. Previously I am very extreme, but now I'm finding "the middle", learning to understand others, and looking after other people. Nowadays it's not the same as the imbalance heart of myself in the past, feels more mature at understanding others than before. I can't define what a real adult is, but compared with the past I think it changed a lot. Although the big parts didn't change a lot, there's a big change in the little parts.
Q: Is there anything that makes you curious?
Lay: Music. Arranging (music), producing songs, writing lyrics, playing piano, playing the violin, dancing, and others that have anything to do with music are interesting.
Q: What's the most important between past, present, and future?
Lay: I think the future is the most important one. Present and future are same important too, if there's no present, there's no future. If now we have not put great efforts, we don't know what's future gonna be like. Based on the same principle, although now we already put in effort we don't know what the result in the future gonna be. So both are important.
Q: Which is the most valuable things that can be seen?
Lay: Human emotions? Kind of feeling between one person to another person.
Q: If you can make a wish for life, what's your hope?
Lay: Marriage. Every person will think about marriage. And if I have a children, I want to play together with them too.
Q: In your daily life, when you think is the most pleasing?
Lay: None, absolutely none. If I put myself thinking become perfect, I can't endure that. I can said that "You're not bad, very good." that's all. But I'm not satisfied, can't easily satisfied. If I'm already satisfied, I will seek for other things. My standard is very high, so there's time that I get tired, but I still continue working hard. Reason for putting a lot of efforts is I want to receive everyone's recognition My wild ambitions are so great. After receive everyone's recognition, in order to gain more recognition I will continue to fight.
Q: When you feel time so short in a day?
Lay: When I'm making music. Because time's not much, don't know how they go. From 11.00 am to enter the studio, less than hours, someone's calling me "let's eat!", time's already 5,6,7 pm. Time's go so fast.
Q: When do you think the sky is most beautiful in a day?
Lay: Evening before the sun goes down. This makes me think of my trainee's era and return to the dorm in a flash. Very beautiful.
Q: You think in the human race discovery, what's the greatest that we evolve?
Lay: Man and woman, I think it is very magical, like an art.
Q: What's your life's indicator?
Lay: Put in a great effort. Only by trying your best, there will be an appropriate result. The more you give your best, the more luck becomes better. The result of great effort brings a lot of outcomes and being able to learn many things. I do not blindly believe in efforts, in fact, I've worked very hard. I think my great efforts will gain payback, but sometimes no matter how worked hard I am, I still didn't get the payback. Sometimes we already give our best, but the result could be not as not what we wanted.
