That was ooc :o
//OOPS. Wow hi, yes, hello. I remember you too, ooc. I kinda faded out and idk if I'm gonna fade back in or not?
But I'm here. For now.
O lawd, I remember you.
You... remember me?
Oh. Wow. Thank you, Peeta.
I remember you, too.
uhm... hello...
suppose I should say hello. After everything. And the new propos coming out...
Hi, everyone.
((How do you feel about Stef Dawson being cast as Annie??))
//Oh my god I haven't answered one of these in FOREVER let alone been on this account. Damn.
I'm actually really, really pleased. People who were here earlier this year know that I'm avidly against Astrid as Annie for a variety of reasons, and that my personal vote for Annie was myself. But I am not Stef Dawson, so clearly this beautiful campaign of mine was lost.
I wanted an unknown to be cast. And I have gotten my wish, and right now, I'm extremely happy with it. I trust casting directors implicitly. Stef has a very sweet look about her, (OKAY it would be super awesome if she were a WOC, but also problematic in that respect.) but I can totally see the career victor I know and love and that few others seem to acknowledge.
I cannot wait to see what she can do.
Found this on my dash just now.
So you know, now I feel like shit.
Thanks, Tumblr.
Once again:
Horrible.

Catch? Really? More like flounder.
Rude, Katniss.
Most certainly a catch. More than catch of the day. Catch of my life.
He’s a flirt. And fishy. Might as well have two eyes on one side of his head for as creepy as he can be.
Katniss! That is my husband! Is not creepy. Shush.

Myths & Legends: Rusalka
In Slavic folklore, there exists a dangerous female fairy-like being that lives in lakes and rivers. Though often confused with mermaids and sometimes are portrayed to look similar to mermaids, they are traditionally not mermaid-like in appearance. They are beautiful and seductive woman with eerie, green-glowing eyes. According to legend, the rusalki are the spirits of drowned or violently murdered young girls. They take delight in drowning men and children by tricking or luring them into the water. Her deadly power rests in her embrace. She also possesses fairy glamour, enchantment and can hypnotize with her song to help in luring her prey into the water. In some legends, the laughter of a rusalka, if heard, can also be fatal. Supposedly, the only way to defeat a rusalka is to let her hair to dry though in some myths, iron objects and salt can also repel them. Another way to stop a rusalka would be to avenge the ghosts’s murderer provided that she didn’t die from suicide.
Myths & Legends: The Mermaid
Mermaids are known for being beautiful young women from the waist up and having long scaled tails like a fish from the waist down. Many different cultures have different yet similar versions of the mermaid though many of them depict them as singing and brushing their hair on rocks in the ocean, luring seamen to their deaths. They take young, handsome men to their homes deep down in the sea thereby killing them. They are good or bad depending on the tale and culture but almost all of them show the mermaid as being extremely irresistible.
