OK I’m bothered and this is is Tumblr so I’m venting my feelings here!

This girl name is Nina Fame who is apparently a female rapper who is calming to be Seminole

What bothering me that she saying she Seminole but wearing a headdress?!?! It’s 2017 you think people would stop wearing headdress. There is so much wrong with this. First of all Seminoles don’t wear headdress, second of all not all natives wear headdress its a ignorant stereotype, and lastly headdress are sacred. Headdress are honer, respected and TO BE EARNED plus there worn by MALE CHIEFS. FUN-FACT FOR THE NON-NATIVE PEOPLE: Headdress are not for fashion, costumes, or just trying to be cute!

So I made this comment here on her Instagram

Before I comment on her post other Seminoles were commenting on here post (Yes I knew the other people were Seminole before you ask most of them are friends and family) we’re telling she can’t be seminole with a headdress.

These two people i guess you can say they were defending her. They were insulting the other natives in the comments section. Telling us that we are wrong and not true natives. We are being racist and just jealous cause she looks better in a headdress than us lol.

P.S. I can’t show you what the girl said cause she block me. The guy was being an asshole to all natives in comments then comments this to me and friend.

I’m almost full blood Seminole who the the fuck are you tell me about my culture, the culture i was born and raised when your not even Seminole. Finally, it may be concluded I wish these people would take down their pages (well at least Nina) but i know that wouldn’t happen.
