I was looking around on reddit and people were talking about how Armin was commander and why wasn't it Jean or at least they be co-leaders since Jean is just as good in dire situations.

Someone likened it to Armin being commander which makes Jean the captain and I can't stop thinking about that.

Armin gives the orders, Jean makes it happen. Armin can talk a lot of people into getting things done, Jean can show a smaller group how it will get done.

I kind of love it.

This is not to take anything away from anything characters accomplished in the show as obviously everyone gets things done.

I really don't have any issues with people who headcanon Historia as bisexual. What I do have a problem with however is when people use her pregnancy and the farmer as a way to justify that headcanon.

They always say something like "Oh historia is obviously bi because she was impregnated by the farmer" as if it isn't entirely possible for her to have just accepted fate and gone along with the pregnancy plan because she knew as a woman in her situation that she wouldn't have much of a choice.

These are not the faces of a woman who is happy with her life.

I personally interpret Historia's S4 storyline as a parallel to the founder Ymir, who was also forced to bear children for the protection of her nation and in order to keep the power of the founder.

Because there are strong female characters in aot, people like to ignore any and all oppression that they face. Kuchel is forced into prostitution because she is a woman of the ackerman family and she dies while doing it, mikasa is almost trafficked because she is not seen as a person simply a desirable exotic object to be bought and sold, historia is forced 2 times into a life she does not want, 1st into the role of queen after she is pressured to do so by erwin and levi and then into the role of mother or more accurately baby factory because if they had not killed eren, eldia would have continued to make her have children.
