Midnight Sun

Stephanie Meyer announced the release date of Midnight sun. I honestly thought it will never happen. While I think the Twilight books were awful, I will still buy the book for nostalgia’s sake. Twilight played a significant role in my life when I was 15 years old and I feel that that I owe it to my teenage self to at least attempt to read the book. so yes I understand the books are terrible, campy, problematic but it is nostalgia for me.

I know most of us had at least some issues with The Queen of Nothing as the finally of the series–whether that had to do with pacing or not feeling surprised or wanting more Jurdan moments 

But with how many gut-wrenchingly tragic endings we’ve experienced in popular media this year, I really appreciate that Holly Black understood the importance of Happily Ever After and gave us an ending that both her characters and her fans deserved
