Once there was a girl,

who loved a boy

with your name.

I cannot fathom

how tall your trees

could grow

if you stopped

chopping the tops

in fear of someone else

cutting you down.

Playing with patterns

I tried to chase away the ghost of your lips with someone else's. But the living cannot haunt the dead.

My mind was as calm as the sea.

Remember when we were giants. When we could pick trees like they were flowers.

She walked through the valley of death.

a never ending path.

her beauty.
