Comfort headcanons? Hmm- well, I’d like to think that whenever Sonic is feeling down, Mets will either make Sonic some chili dogs (Mets knows exactly how Sonic likes ‘em), or (this part was influenced by Enigma’s Iron Oxide) crack some terrible jokes to lighten the mood. Mets may also just simply hug Sonic and let him cry it out- and vice versa, if Mets is feeling down, Sonic will hold him and comfort him as long as he needs.

And also smother him with smooches.

As to my breakup fic, I do have to warn you- it’s only going to get worse before it gets better. Muahaha- I’m evil. <3

You don't need Enigma's permission to do a ship week. They don't own the ship or the concept of a ship week. Just do the ship week.

First off, I already asked her for permission and she said yes. So sonic-not-sonic and I are hosting it this year. Secondly, Enigma was the one to start Metonic Ship Week, as far as I know. While she may not have created the general concept of a ship week nor does she own the ship, she was the one who started the ship week for Metonic. She was the one who hosted it since 2017.

Therefore, to ask her for permission to host it shows her that I respect her. As not only a fan of her work, but also a fellow writer and a fellow Metonic shipper, I wanted to show Enigma that I respect her. And I also view it as simply common courtesy.

I apologise if I seem rude or blunt in my words, but this is how I feel.

So- drumroll please!- @sonic-not-sonic and I are hosting Metonic Ship Week this year with the permission of TheEnigmaMachine (thanks again, btw). This is the poster sonic-not-sonic and I made for it, I hope you all like it.

Anyways, onto the part you all are waiting for: the dates!

Metonic Ship Week will be set for December 21-28 for this year. So for each day of that time frame, if your heart so desires, you can post something for Metonic based on the prompts for each of the days listed above- be it fanfiction, fanart, etc.

My dad of all people cracked a joke about Metal Sonic in heels. Headcanon was of course accepted and implemented into art form accordingly.

Also, Eggman, don't be mean to your boi- he looks AMAZING in heels. <3 So shut your eggy trap!

This is also my first time drawing Eggman in years. And surprisingly he looks pretty good in this sketch. And this is my first time ever drawing Orbot and Cubot (that I can remember-)

I finally got around to finishing this drawing. <3 I had this sitting in my phone half coloured for a while now, and finally decided to finish it.

Also, with another project of mine, I found that I absolutely HATE colouring in sepia and have vowed to never colour that way again.

A page from the comic I'm currently working on. I posted it on the comic blog I set up as a promo of sorts. Slowly but surely getting there!

I am now working on outlining the first issue! It's quite a bit shorter in terms of page number in comparison to the actual IDW comics (my comic is about 13 pages long), but I'm still figuring out how to set things up plot-wise and all that. Anyways, there are some minor changes I made to this page while outlining, primarily with Metal Sonic's painting. The idea I got for that was too hilarious to pass up.

Also, there's several things I wanna change/retcon with this version of the timeline. For example, I do want to give Sonic some family- like for example Uncle Chuck from the Archie comics and maybe an OC relative. I might bring back Sonic's parents too, but we'll see. Two relatives are good enough for now. Plus, it'll be fun coming up with designs and stuff for the OC relative (I'm thinking they'll be a sibling). I'll be doing some thorough research on making OC siblings too to make sure I don't fall into the "Mary Sue" trap, so I say this to you, toxic fans-

I. DON'T. WANT. TO. HEAR. IT.

Another thing I want to avoid is the whole "two worlds" crap. As far as I'm concerned, there's only one world in the Genesis continuity that both Mobians and humans live on. It worked in Sonic X, but this ain't Sonic X, folks.

Also, Sonic definitely has a house hidden away somewhere on the planet, he just doesn't sleep there often. And it's full of dust.

And lastly, I think I will color my comic before posting it anyways- I'll just probably make the color scheme a little less complex than what I've been doing for my current coloring style (if that makes any sense).

That reminds me, I need to draw a cover for this issue at some point...

I'm gonna be doing the very first issue of the Sonic IDW canon divergence series (I need to come up with a better name for this series cause that's a mouthful!) Anyways, here are the first three pages so far. I'll probably wind up doing the colours myself (I really don't want to because I don't have a lot of patience, but I'll do my best if it comes to that). Once I do finish at least the pencilling and lineart stages for this comic, I'll set up a separate account and post the first issue there.

Hopefully I can actually finish this thing.

Edit: Also, Tails' lab got makeover. Deal with it XD

Well, I was thinking of perhaps starting up a canon-divergence digital fan comic series based on that plotline, with of course lots of Metonic moments. <3 Now, since this would probably be a tall order for me, given my lack of patience in trying to make a fully coloured comic that's longer than one page, not to mention I have trouble keeping track of certain plotlines sometimes, I was thinking of putting together a little team to do this.
