If I see one more person saying they don’t think Pink deserved to be a shadow crystal boss or didn’t deserve the freedom motif, I’m going to explode.

Her whole THING is freedom. She’s in the dark world in the first place to find her freedom in the body she just KNEW was her.

Plus, she directly parallels our relationship with Kris. She presents a solution to the problem we have with Kris, where the body and soul want something different. She presents the idea of working together and compromising, learning to love both sides of yourself. She is the freedom that we and Kris could potentially have.

Not to mention, Pink and Ralsei are parallels too! Pink knows who she is and what she wants, and Ralsei does not. Ralsei speaks directly to Pink’s problems like her dysphoria like they know what she’s going through. Ralsei is, at their core, envious of people who know what they want and are confident enough to take it. They NEED Pink’s fight, in a way, because it might help them become more secure.

Just because Pink doesn’t fit the “creepy” or “dark” themes of the other secret bosses, doesn’t mean she doesn’t belong there. Trans joy is freedom. Self acceptance is freedom. She deserves this.

BY THE WAY. did you guys know that Spamton and Magolor has a lot in common:

- traitors

- power hungry

- failed their initial plan doing it alone (spamton failed to get into queen’s basement alone; magolor failed to fight Landia alone), so they turn to the protagonist for help

- Uses an artifact to transform into their boss fight form and immediately attacks

- after the fight they become “friends” with the protagonist and becomes their ally

- salesman (magolor becomes a salesman post RTDL)

- Implied to have known a certain jester characters from their respective game universe in canon (Jevil, Marx)

- builds theme parks (see Magolor mini games)

- blue egg

haha so funny story- i drew some concept art for ch 4 with a jjk crossover last night-

yes, i have caught up to all the episodes! so far, my favorite episodes are the higaruma episode (the 2nd one where he fights yuji) and the yuji vs. choso fight episode. both have such excellent and cinematic storytelling with how they're storyboarded, with the cinematography, the lighting, etc. i could go on and on. ppl at MAPPA are insane for both those episodes. i went a 2 hour rant during the choso fight episode and my partner just listened to be yap and gush abt it all HAHAHA.

i also said, after we caught up to all the episodes "huh... jjk has a lot of similarities with SP..."
