Done b/c I literally at my work saw a twelve year old do what Niji did with their baby sister and all I could think was, 'hope they don't spit up' and VOILA~! Would've posted this last Sunday, but then got some vertigo (vestibular migraine for me, such joy) when I was already like 75% done with this... aw well, better late than never...

Ya know...I love doomed siblings Sanji and Reiju...but sometimes I also think about doomed siblings Ichiji and Reiju. Thinking about...how they just can't fundamentally understand each other on a meaningful scale.

Mainly because of the fact that Ichiji is obviously Judge's golden child, the next in line for the throne, he's LITERALLY number one, it's in his name...

...which is all in contrast to Reiju...the ELDEST sibling, yet has been marked as "0". She's the prototype, the "not great, but good enough" (better than Sanji in her father and brothers' eyes at least), the one who SHOULD be next in line but, most likely, is not.

She's stuck with her emotions and guilt, which are locked away from her brothers, while Ichiji is free of such things. She's just "the girl" of the team while he's "the face" of it. Ichiji is the bold red while Reiju is the watered down, paler version of said color.

They're worlds apart, even if they live together.

He's a "monster" and she's just his sister.
