He's here and he's beautiful.

Our pup, Caleb. The boy is holding him in his arms. I've never seen him this happy in his life.

Nine pounds and five ounces and he came so fucking fast once the boy got the all clear to push.

Also, I formally asked him to marry me. (Don't worry. I promise I didn't spring it on him. We'd talked about it a lot and we both felt like, with Caleb and both of our families there to see was the right time.)

He said yes. :)

Gonna be radio silent for a while for obvious reasons but we both wanted you all to know that the pup is here and he's beautiful.

Just growled in his ear that it was time for him to push our pup out.

He's SO strong. I've known how strong he was my whole life even when nobody else knew and I had no idea he was THIS strong. Fuck. I love him so much.

I can FEEL him bearing down in my arms. I can feel his -relief- at being able to finally push with the contractions.

He says he loves you all.

Mate speaking. I'm in the pool with him holding him and rubbing his belly. I can FEEL the pup moving in him every time he pushes. He says he loves you all. Pool makes phone logistics really hard but he wants to keep you all up to date on what's going on. He's making the hottest lil' noises I've ever heard anything make. He doesn't even sound like this when I'm breeding him.

Contractions are, quote, "right the fuck on top of each other", I think that's a technical term. I'm gonna get to tell him he can push real soon.

He just deliriously begged me to promise him I'd make another baby in him so I think it's safe to say he's enjoying the struggle.

Of course I said yes. <3 (It'll still probably be a little while. But not TOO long.)

He's being a VERY good boy and I'm so fucking proud of him.

The nurses keep joking around, like, "hey come back again soon it's nice when someone's goofing around and telling jokes through it". Apparently he is acting like this is his third or fourth. Clearly he was in fact meant for this. ;)

hi, it's me again

moving, very slowly and with difficulty, to the pool. pup decided at the last minute that in addition to being a kickboxer and/or football player he wanted to be a swimmer or something, it was an option but i wasn't sure about it for a while but taking a bath this morning felt really really good and right and i'm hoping it'll still feel that way.

i'm so close. he's almost here. <3

Highly recommend knocking up the love of your life and holding him and wiping the sweat from his face as he struggles through active labor. 10/10 one of the hottest things I've ever done. Looking forward to the next time. ;)

i would like to register a complaint with whoever decided that it should feel like you have to push before it is ok or safe to actually do so.

i have never in my life felt anything as vividly as that i need to push other than, possibly, that i needed to have this man's baby

Uhhh they are definitely *different*. they changed a lot when my water broke. like there was a definite difference between pushing on *fluid* and pushing on pup and it's hard to describe, it hurts a lot more now.

How does it feel to have your cervix checked? It always sounds like hell to me.

it is not my favourite sensation in the world! i don't love it. everything is insanely sensitive in a way that has integer overflowed into Too Much whenever anyone is fussing around down there but I can feel the pup's head actively stretching me out, it's *fucking wild*.

so, uh, we got to the birthing clinic and by the time we got there i was already 6 cm dilated.

contractions are a couple minutes apart right now and they're insanely intense. it feels like my water breaking kicked things into high gear.

mate and his lil bro (my best friend) are with me right now, mate's family and my family are hanging out so that everyone isn't circling me lol, they know me very well and i love them all so much.

His water just broke. It just kept pouring out of him. Can't fucking describe how THAT felt in a million years. He's taking another quick shower because, quote, "I'm not leaving the house like this", end quote, and then we're heading to the clinic. Contractions IMMEDIATELY got a lot rougher for him. He's into it. Lol.

We're gonna be dads. I (or he) will keep you posted. Love y'all. Thank you for keeping him company for all of this, I was so worried about him being lonely and y'all helped with that a lot.

Sorry if this has already been asked, but what are you birth plans? Thanks for describing your contractions after my earlier ask, the fact you can distinctly feel the head pressing down with each one… it’s wild.

there's this AMAZING lovely birth/labor clinic associated with a local hospital that we've been seeing people at for a while, they have been AMAZINGLY good and gender affirming and they're looking forward to seeing me later today!!

update sex while you're in early labor is somehow even hotter than sex when you're nine months pregnant. absolutely wild.

contractions are... ten-ish minutes apart? legitimately feels like sex jostled something loose (in a good way) lol. took a shower and a short bath and it felt absolutely amazing to be in the water so I'm keeping that one in mind
