You fall in love, you feel amazing, you’re on top of the world and the other person becomes your world. A minute doesn’t pass when you don’t share those 3 words followed by a gentle kiss. You show interest in each others days and appreciate every last ‘pointless, repetitive story.’ Days turn into weeks, weeks turn into months and then become years. Time flies past you until things begin to change... Minutes begin to drag. Those 3 special words fade into background and the butterflies begin to fly away. Then the arguments get worse, they last longer and they become hurtful until they no longer hurt at all. It is now a new routine. You feel trapped and almost alone because you have invested so much time into him that you lost sight of your surroundings. It is now over but, you have a choice to be bitter or to let it go? Those feelings that came so quickly feel as though they will never go away. You sit down contemplating everything thinking how you always used to stare into his big brown eyes and tell him how you would ‘be lost’ without him. You begin to cry, sob and fall apart. You said you would be lost without him? But i seen your smile light up rooms, your laughs echo and your attitude fly all around you before him. I heard the life of travelling and amazing experiences you had all planned for yourself before him. You found yourself before him, now you must find yourself again. Count him as an amazing experience, a journey and be sure to move onto your next one as there is a world out there waiting for you and it cannot find you unless you let it!!
