Sure we can talk about her pre wedding charity things, she attended 2 boxing matches to watch friends fight. She did a photo exhibit and never did anything again for them or for her supposed photography career.
She went to Chile, like William did at at the time he was supposed to, just like she went to Florence when he was supposed to go, but cancelled last min
She was on a board of 100 people that did the disco, her work for it is unknown, we just know she went there in a outfit that did not match the theme, got drunk, swore and yelled at Bea for no reason making Bea cried. Fell over many times due to being drunk and showed that her short shorts had no underwear underneath, we all saw. Before having to be carried out by staff to the car she was so drunk and again showed what was not under her shorts.
Also you missed her being asked to the Military Awards for Wounded Soldiers and her standing them up - this after engaged but before we knew.
You also missed many charities complaining publicly that she would agree to do something then never turn up to the point she got a reputation for being flaky, rude and to be avoided.
Would you like to still talk about her pre wedding charity things?
Finally, oh my goodness are we still pedding the Lumsden Club lie? really? she was not a founding member and had nothing to do with the fashion show. Other than ruining the skirt that woman made and deciding, oh a skirt with an underlay? nah lets make it a see through dress
Now some fun quotes,
Kate was invited to a fundraising event at the Royal Marsden Hospital in Chelsea in May 2008 but pulled out at the last minute even though Prince William attended.
‘Kate has been asked many times to do charity work She is often asked when she is out at parties. I was with her at one event when a representative from a rather high-profile charity suggested that Kate get involved.
‘She was really keen at the time and said she would love to get on board. She gave the organiser all her details but, when they wrote to her, Kate didn’t even reply.
‘She has quite a bad reputation for being rude when it comes to responding to letters.
She often fails to RSVP when she is asked to attend events. She once failed to reply to a wedding invitation from one of William’s friends and it didn’t go down very well.’
and the fun excuses! fyi Clarence House they don’t stop her from doing, tell her she cannot do anything, she can do as she wishes, she is a private citizen
‘Kate is well aware of what’s being said about her not working. She is, however, in a bit of a rut.
‘She is really keen to develop her photography career and also has an interest in fashion. But she’s quite limited in terms of what she can do because of the interest in her.
‘She was offered a job by a leading fashion house a while ago but she said that everything had to go through Clarence House.
‘In the end it was just too difficult to make the whole thing work and nothing ever came of it.’
Regarding the snubbing of Military Heroes - Oct 2010
To the dismay of the organisers of the glittering Fashion For The Brave dinner, which raised money for Help For Heroes and the Army Benevolent Fund, Prince William’s girlfriend, Kate Middleton, not only failed to show up for the event but didn’t even bother to reply to her invitation.
Others rose to the occasion. Dame Shirley Bassey flew over from her Monaco home to attend this week’s black-tie dinner at The Dorchester hotel, while Angela Rippon gave up a day’s filming with the BBC to host the auction, waiving her usual fee.
Kate — the girl expected to be the next Princess of Wales — and her sister Pippa were both sent embossed invitations to the event, which raised £250,000, more than six weeks ago.
But while her Royal Sir Force boyfriend, who was also invited, responded, Kate did not.
‘We had a formal response from Prince William and Prince Harry’s private secretary, who wrote sending their deep apologies and pointed out how much they wanted to be there but that, as ordinary soldiers, they could not get leave of absence from their military duties,’ says a spokesman for the organisers.
‘But we had no response at all from William’s girlfriend, Kate Middleton, nor anything from her sister. I may be old-fashioned, but surely it is common courtesy to reply to a formal invitation.’
Of the 320 invitations sent out, just four people did not RSVP.
‘In the Middleton sisters’ case, we were told we had to send the invitations to them via their parents’ company, Party Pieces. When we didn’t receive replies, we telephoned a few weeks later. Someone at Party Pieces said they had passed the invitations on to the sisters and we heard nothing more.
Why skip this part of the article?
Of the 320 invitations sent out, just four people did not RSVP. The other two were the student princesses, Beatrice and Eugenie.
At the Palace, we were told both girls were at university, but we still didn’t get a formal response, which we think — to put it bluntly — is pretty rude.’
