Anthony got up and turned to Kalel who was standing there with one hand on her stomach. She lifted a pregnancy test up for him to see and she spoke. He quickly analyzed the small printed result and his eyes lit up with excitement. “W-what?” He stuttered in his growing happiness. Anthony’s hands were on her shoulders and a smile spread. “Oh, Kalel..” he pulled her in for a hug and squeezed her lightly. He could hear Kalel’s gentle, yet happy sobs over his shoulder and he couldn’t help but let out a joyous chuckle before speaking again. “We’re having a baby.” He pulled away to kiss her forehead and then looked into her tearful eyes. “You’re going to be a mommy..” he giggled and pecked her lips. Anthony thought to himself “and I’m going to be a daddy..” he smiled a little wider, (which almost seemed impossible) and looked down to her hand on her stomach. He placed one hand over hers, looked back at her eyes and bit his lip slightly. “Buki wont be our only baby anymore.”

Kalel didn’t say anything as Anthony pulled her in. She just wrapped her arms around him and squeezed him close. She continued letting out what sounded like a mix of tiny chuckle and happy sobs. Kalel heard Anthony chuckle and her heart lifted up knowing he was just as happy as she was. As he pulled away slightly kissed her forehead, Kalel brought her hand back to her stomach. It was hard for her to wrap her head around the thought that a little baby was growing inside her. “I know,” she said softly and smiled, looking up at Anthony. “I know,” she repeated, giggling with Anthony then getting a quick kiss. When Anthony placed his hand over hers, she got this amazing feeling throughout her whole body. This is where she belonged. Right here with Anthony, married and having a baby. She smiled wide and swallowed back the last of her tears. Kalel giggled again at Anthony’s comment and shook her head. “No she won’t. We’ll be actual parents. A real mommy and daddy.”

Anthony smiled and looked Kalel in the eyes with warmth. "Wow.." he whispered with a big smile still on his face. He chuckled, met his fingers to hers and intertwined them slowly. "I promise.. to be the most supportive daddy I can be." Anthony said as his head angled down to see her stomach. "I will love and take care of both of you the best I can, until the day I die." His directed his sight upwards to make eye contact with Kalel and squeezed her hand lightly. He took a moment to remember everything they had been through to this day, and reminisced quickly before realizing he was zoned out. "I-I love you, Kalel." Anthony said before planting one more kiss on her lips.
