Endless fuck yous to the showrunners, you absolutely did this to yourselves, may you swallow your egos long enough to fucking learn something from it.

diverging from critical role for a moment to say something about the magicians: everyone, and i mean everyone, that i’ve seen who is happy to see it cancelled is a fan. this isn’t supernatural where people who have never seen an episode were elated when it was cancelled. all the people who are happiest about this are people who love(d) the show, and i think that’s a testament to how royally the writers fucked up and how little regard they have for both the fans and the actors. we are grieving but we are pissed. i’m sure there are fans out there who are sad to see it cancelled–there are always ride or dies–but it’s just, i don’t know. it’s interesting and sad to see how much of an enemy the writers made of what was really an extremely dedicated and loving fanbase.
