July 3, 1998: Lin “Spit” Newborn and Dan Shersty - founding members of Las Vegas Unity Skins and Anti-Racist Action’s Las Vegas chapter - drive into the desert outside of Las Vegas, Nevada to attend what they believe is a fourth of July party.  Instead, they are ambushed by six neo-nazis, who murder both of them. Of the six alleged to have committed the murders, three are currently serving prison sentences; one died in a car accident before facing charges; and two walked away from murder charges last year. From this weekend’s Berlin protests against proposed anti-refugee asylum laws.  Via RT: “Hundreds of people marched through the streets of Berlin to the Bundestag, Thursday, to protest against a drafted law which would make it easier for the German government to both reject asylum seekers claims and deport migrants. Protesters chanted pro-immigration slogans and held signs reading “no one is illegal” and “stop the tightening of the asylum laws. To flee is not a crime”.
