also hey, now i can understand Semiramis’ last words and they can really hurt me. 

The fact that Shirou is the only one who “asked for my strength to fight by his side” being a big deal to her makes sense. The people in her first life all lusted after her or desired her as an empress who could give them wealth, status or power. Then all of a sudden she gets summoned up by this weirdo 17th century samurai martyr who treats her like a person, who wants her not for her body or power or money but for her strength. Who wants her to fight by his side as a partner to save the world. It makes a lot of sense to me that she’d come to genuinely care for him because of that. 

Semiramis’ last words about how unpleasant it is that she always ends up being unable to be happy and losing what she cares about hits home extra hard in light of the fact that she’s still not in fgo. Let us give semiramis nice things dw.
