I know it's not cannibalism beacuse they're poptarts. But I still think it'd count as a form of muder right? They really never thought of the fucked up implications these commercials had."

And despite the chance of him biting her too, Lilli still reaches for his face... though she can't really reach all the way up there. He would have to lean down for her to be able to touch his face.

Hank made a snorting noise, like the sound a horse makes when its happy, and leaned down. "I mean, it does make me look cool too."

But it was mainly there to hide that beartrap of a jaw.

considering in the plushie short he tells sanford to not bother talking to hank makes me think he's tried a few times to make hank laugh and when he realized that didnt work he doesnt even try anymore

hank is just a presence that he tries to largely ignore because he knows he'll go through a wall of he pisses hank off

This was not Nihil's first experience encountering wanderers so as perplexing as these guys were, the frantic weirdness was at least not unexpected.

Most of said wanderers didn't really... last very long though. Who knows what might happen to these ones.

For a moment it just stared blankly at Deimos. It had many questions, but maybe asking what he meant by 'the right seasoning' wouldn't have been the most tactful. It decided to focus on the first part instead.

"That's a sssmart idea. I've see a lot of people go crazy here." Ok, that probably wasn't much more reassuring.

"How are you planning to do that?" That was not a snarky question, but a genuine one, as if assuming Sanford had some sort of technique for not going crazy that other people had simply not implemented.

It wasn't much of a secret that the meat in Nevada was just ground up bodies. And considering grunt meat tasted naturally bland...wait, no that's not important right now.

"Still trying to figure that one out." Deimos said. "Might have to get back to you on that."

Sanford rolled his eyes, wanting to say something about them both being past that point. "Well, since Deimos isn't gonna ask the obvious, I'll ask. Where are we? I mean, I'm not really complaining. It's a lot nicer than where we're from either way. Shit, I think this is the first time I've seen clean water in years....if it is actually clean."

It sure smelled clean. That smell of chlorine permeating the air was hard to ignore.

She laughs at that. They sure both know the truth. Or at least Lilli guessed from how he talked about his teammates and other people, that he didn't really had many friends that Hank looked forward to see.

" Ugh. I really don't like vhen someone goes back on zheir vord. He sounds kinda like a prick, not gonna lie to you. Vhy doesn't he go on missions? "

Kinda unfair in her opinion that he only sends Hank and uh... the other two she forgot the name of, to missions. And doesn't even gives them some time for a break! Perhaps she could help Hank to get his free week.

" You know, perhaps I could take you to my vorld for a little vacation! I doubt he vould be able to contact if you vere zhere, heh. Just if you vant of course! I sure vouldn't mind spending some time vith you! "

Because despite what she had heard about the tall grunt, he was actually pretty nice in her opinion!

"Something about needing to stay behind to make sure things run smoothly. I don't need him telling me how to do my job, and I sure don't need help, which he insists on." Hank huffed.

In his mind, Sanford and Deimos were just dead weight slowing him down. He could easily take care of a mission by himself at twice the speed if Doc didn't insist on sending those two along too...

But Hank immediately perked up at the idea of leaving Nevada for a while. He really did need a vacation. Sometimes you really do just need a break from murder.

"Fuck yeah, I want to! Anything to get away from Nevada."

"Yes. Ari... have mouth and lung." As if to demonstrate, Ari opened her mouth as far as she could, displaying the jaws of pointed fangs in the meanwhile. After a second, she lowered her head again so they might speak properly.

"... Not have worry about sand then? Why?"

"Cuz I don't." Thank you, Sanford, very informative. "I don't have any...uh...holes that sand can get through into my lungs. I can even close my mouth."

To demonstrate, he lifted up his shades, to give a better view that he didn't have visible eyes or a nose. Just a cross shaped indent on his face. His mouth even disappeared briefly, sealing itself into his face to be completely featureless. "Seems like a weird design flaw that you can drown in sand."

The badger in Dude's arms is growling, foaming at the mouth. Its body thrashes, but Dude keeps it in its place. ❝ Man . . . I knew Nevada was a shit hole. But I hadn't realized all the animals fucked off. ❞ Yes, he absolutely believes Hank is referring to the state.

‎ ❝ Awesome ! You have GOT to show us your fucked up lack-of-jaw sometime ! But for now, I'll show you my monkey. ❞ Demon hands Hank the spider monkey that had just been nesting on his shoulder. ❝ They're like tiny humans ! And if monkey doesn't interest you, then check out the other animals — ❞

Which there's a lot roaming around by their feet. Monkeys, cats, bear cubs, squirrels, raccoons, etc. In the distance, there are screams from people followed by the thunderous roars of lions & elephant trumpets.

Hank holds the monkey out in front of him, clearly unsure what to really do with it, but still stares at it in utter fascination. It really is like a weird tiny human with hair. You could have told him said monkey is what small humans aka children look like, and he would have believed it.

But he's more interested in the badger.

"What's a zoo?" He says, handing the monkey back to Demon and instead focusing on the badger. "And what's that? It's cute."

Aannddd he sticks his hand out to pet the badger, not giving two shits if he gets bitten. He wants to pet the cute fluffy thing!
