I’m seeing a lot of it going around in the animecore tag/community and its pedophilia. i know there is a post about it already but it needs more attention. Forgive the messiness of this post. 

The protagonist is called Sato Matsuzaka: 

and she is a pedophile who is romantically attracted to a child and keeps them in her apartment.

The child is named Shio Kobe and she is not allowed to attend school, is completely oblivious to what Sato does and is kept a secret so that Sato can be by her side “forever”.

I don’t need to explain other than this Freshman high schooler is practically keeping a kindergartener in her apartment, not allowing her to attend school, is obsessively in love with her and has romantic feelings for her. Shio is practically groomed by Sato, who tells her the world outside is cruel and dangerous, so that she puts trust into her and doesn’t leave her apartment. if pedophiles gushing about bathing children or watching them run around in bathing suits doesnt concern you, you’re an apologist who doesnt actually care if kids get molested or not. you may think you care and get sad and sick hearing fisthand accounts of violent childhood sexual abuse but people like you are the reason it happens in the first place. looking the other way when they’re talking about how hot they think kids are and how they love their genitals and naked bodies is how you fucking enable and validate them. if they aren’t ashamed of it, it’s because not enough people are calling them out on how fucked up it really is. asking “what’s harm in them just talking about it” is how you allow pedophile rings to grow. not all of them will touch children but all of them actively hurt children everytime they check them out and talk about how attracted they are to them.

That might sound sound cold but before 6am this morning someone damn near 30 wrote a fic about a 15yo and a 40yo fucking, and this 40yo abused his wife to the point where she had what was probably s psychotic break and ended up hurting one of her children, and abused/neglected his other children their whole lives, and you’re saying it’s okay to like stuff like that because ‘ship and let ship’? If you’re okay with people doing that then know you’re not an anti, you just condone that kind of behavior that you say you’re against.

You can be an anti that doesn’t harass people or send death threats, that’s completely valid and most antis don’t. But the people you want to let ship what they want are grooming children and teenagers, don’t care about the fact that pedophiles or maps or whatever the fuck they call themselves now find pleasure, validity, and gratification in these things, and often ARE the people that ship these things.

So long story short, nah you’re not an anti. You just condone the behavior of the people that you say you’re against. Now you can say “oh I’m not gonna follow these people” or “I’m going to be in my own little bubble” but there’s a difference between that and saying “eh I don’t care that full grown adults are writing and drawing and jacking off to porn of minors or porn of children with adults or romanticizing relationships between children and adults”. Tbh I'm having a bit of a dilemma rn. My best friend since the third grade (we're going to be Juniors this coming school year) is a Sheith shipper. When I was about to start high school, my mom told me that senior boys were grown men, and if any were interested in me then I should ask myself why they, as adults, were interested in a kid right out of middle school. And why they couldn’t get someone their own age. Be safe, kiddos. A year counts a lot more when you’re younger, and the kind of senior who wants to date a freshman is well aware of this.
