You know, these things aren’t as shitty as people initially made them out to be.

Their inadequacies are blown more out of proportion than any other firearm I can think of. It is quite possibly one of the most utilitarian firearms in existence.

Look, this garbage adds 2 bolts to remove the foregrip to enable you to open your AR, if you don’t understand what an idiotic concept this is please do not use/buy guns.

The bill originally required state licensing for all firearms manufacturers and dealers in Illinois. Once an exemption for manufacturers was secured, SA and RRA withdrew their opposition, effectively abandoning their dealers. The bill would also place a limit on individuals for purchasing firearms, allowing only 9 transfers a year.

So if you were using this and had one of the safeties with the BHO ability, would you be able to reload by simply actuating the safety to the BHO position, changing mags, and putting the gun back on fire? that would be pretty cool IMO

Nope. Not with any grace. I tried. If you know the shape of an AR15 bolt catch and how it catches the bolt several millimeters before the magazine edge you see the big difference. I now have 2 cut outs in my selector and neither are incorporated in changing magazines.

Kinetitech have a very effective 4 prong for a bunch less + it works well with their redirect sleeve. Check it out, I really like mine!

Is wolf a good brand of ammo? How's it compare to Tula and the other cheap 7.62?

I think Wolf is Tula or at least is made in the same plant. I’m not an ammo specialist by any means but my experience with Wolf Poly has better than any Tula I’ve used. I’ve shot some 600 rounds of this soft point 7.62x39 Wolf with not a single issue. I’ve never been that lucky with Tula. With Tula it seems I see more duds and even hang fires. Side note: I just went through 500 rnds of Brown Bear (Barnaul) 223 and that stuff was pretty bad. Almost a shit round in every box. Maybe a bad batch but much worse than Tula. I once slept in my car with a bunch of Tula (various calibers but all steel case) and from condensation it actually started rusting inside the boxes overnight. I don’t think that could happen with Wolf because of the polymer coating but like I said, I’m not a specialist.
