That’s the most saturated, dark, green betta I’ve ever seen.

The dark green betta is photoshoped! No such intense green/pink combo exists! Green bettas did once exist, but that line wasn’t maintained and the gene is lost until we find it through random mutation again- unfortunately there are no genuine photos of true green bettas on the internet. I’ve seen this image brought up time and time again, it’s a red/blue crowntail photo with the overall hue changed to make it look green.

@sans-vertigo lol came to say the same. If you shift the hue back again, it gives you a perfectly levelled image, so yep, it was altered :P This is most likely how it used to look before (much more beautiful if you ask me):
