Still working on the next animatic, I decided to do it more from Lu's perspective. This Is a rough of the video thumbnail. Thought it'd be fun if I had a contest to see who can guess the song I used first. First person to guess the song its to, I will award them any shitty radio apple sketch they desire. (with in reason my depression has been a bitch lately.)

Hey random question to anyone who knows. (Ikik this is usually a hazbin blog) . But I just got super back into the mandalorian beacuse of the new movie. I'm only mid s2 but I have a dilemma. I'm not well versed In other starwars culture its been a while. But... am I supposed to like Bo Katan and the others more than Dins people? I get he's from a cult version of mandalor and maybe it's just beacuse so far I dislike the other 3 for lying and such. While Din keeps his word. But I kinda like the fact that their helmets aren't ment to be removed outside of their clan. They choose the creed and they follow their code. It's a decision they make for themselves and the discipline they follow with it makes the characters much more interesting. I get the extremism isint good I mean the parts where the other mandaloirans just be taking the helmets of in front of anyone. It seems to take a lot out of the meaning behind wearing it. Idk I'm only on ep11 so maybe I'll change my mind. ( I was a big star wars fan like 10yrs ago and randomly the hyperfixation has crawled out of the depths of my brain to help me distract myself in these trying times).

Ok so in regards to your post about liking Bo Katan or not. Its sorta a mix bag. I feel like the biggest problem that they unintentionally created for themselves is that they had the guy who worked on a BUNCH of Marvel movies. And the guy who worked on Star Wars the Clone Wars AND Rebels. Both had the task of bringing in other characters and Lore to the show from other pieces of media like comics and novels.

And so they kinda compounded their strengths and weaknesses. They introduced Bo with the idea that everyone already knows who she is. Same for another character later if you haven't watched it yet. So the new audiences dont really get a chance to actually KNOW them because of the fact that with this being a streaming show, they have a TIGHT time limit on "Introduce Character, Give QUICK Lore, End Episode"

And personally after having watched the Clone Wars and Rebels a billion times, I see Bo in The Mandalorian and go "she has one goal in mind because she has dropped the ball on literally EVERYTHING ELSE so she might as well double down on a simple goal of killing Moff Gideon lol"

So to answer your question of whether or not you should like her: its up to you. You'll have to really make your final call of if you like her after you finish the show.

And yeah i totally agree, it's actually the main reason why i havent goten back into it. my big problem with star wars is that theirs just SO MUCH lore it's so hard to keep track of who is who and what media their from. And as someone who chronicly struggles with remembering people's names and faces when shows don't have the time to reintroduce characters I get super lost.

Update!: I no longer hate her as much but now I have a new grievance! I 1000% belive Din would be a much better mandalore than her. He's just so much kinder and has learned to accept that they can't be divided. And I do still prefer the cult okay I'm sorry but the way the others act superior beacuse they do remove their helmets and the blood line thing rubs me in all the wrong ways. Dins clan is so accepting of foundlings and their practices and religion are so interesting. They choose to take the creed follow the code and be honorable. They honor each other and their adopted family. But the others don't, maybe it was supposed to come off this way but a lot of the times I see Bos fleet interact with Dins it feels as though they look down apon them for being foundlings. They say the watch insists on following the old ways. But like that doesnt mean u get to disscriminate for it. And dont get me wrong Dins group needs to reign it in. But the blood superiority just hits to close to home. I will always prefer the group that doesn't put merit to bloodlines.

HOWEVER my biggest problem with s3 is not any of this! I actually loved it mostly.

Hey question to the oh wise and all knowing senior tumbler users. Why do we reblog things? I understand the likes but why reblog? Background I'm very nerodivergent and from a very shelterd family. I have found recently the only ship I love just as much as radioapple is royal radio. (At least until s3 and I have more context on Lilith.) Maybe Its because I’m a multishipper idk. I might start making more art of them idk. Any way this was actually born not from a ship idea but from me and my sisters s3 theory’s. Our main one being we hope that even if Lucifer and Lilith don’t get along with Alastor they all collectively decide to fuck with Vox as revenge. So they keep doing shit like this but ONLY with Vox around. ( a why are you telling me this. Because no one will ever believe you situmiwation). I might animate this later with the actual helluva scenes idk.

Something weird I've noticed when I mention to people I make fanart and post little YouTube videos online. Or any of my other hobbies that involve me making something like baking or crocheting. Is that the majority of people, older people specifically, immediately start talking about how I could profit from it. "OH you could sell this, you can make great money doing that, ext". And though I know they mean it as a compliment it's still strange to me. And I will sometimes get weird looks when I try to explain my main reasons for even starting these posts was beacuse I wanted to share my art and interests. I was already making this art before I was posting It, I just wanted to share. It's like some people truly can't fathom creating something solely for the love of doing it. And the idea of creating something and sharing it for free is so wild to them. Honestly it makes me kinda sad, beacuse not everything needs to be profitable. Not every action you take should need some greater purpose than simply the joy it brings.

Me and my sister both like to say we dislike Vox’s personality more than Al’s because he acts way to realistic. In the sense of both us and our fellow bitches have meet a man who behaves like him. A man who gets turned down and then throws a tantrum and shows his real colors because he didn’t get what he wanted. A manchild . We like him as a character but are both hardcore radiosilence shippers. He just hits to close to home uk.

Also yes I put him in Sabrina’s muppets bar scene ensemble it just fit to well. If u haven’t seen it yet highly recommend.

Something me and my sister realized recently about Vox and his s2 flashbacks. Is that Alastor probably clocked his ass in the first 5min of meeting Vincent. Vox is a narcissist and we see him constantly taking pride in how he manipulates people and changes himself to fit and copy his victims. He probably thought he had Alastor hook line and sinker. He's the best after all why wouldn't he be able to manipulate a strong overlord? But he didn't Alastor was the one playing with HIM, and think a huge part of the reasoning behind Voxes crash out that I didn't realize before. Came from the realization that his tricks didn't WORK he FAILED. And like the man child he is he threw a tantrum. And maybe yeah some part of him did or does love or care for Al. But I genuinely think a lot of Voxes upset came from the realization of his failure to manipulate the master.
