Again, I haven't read the manga, know basically nothing about the plot, and there are spoilers ahead
I really like all the storybook transitions
Is Agott trying to get her to do the test the Qifrey just said he didn't want her taking because she could get herself killed?
Oh and Agott shoved her through the magic hole in the wall great
Why can she only take it once? That's dumb.
Did she trip and fall into the magical herb patch?
It's not a mountain??? It's floating balls of mountain??? I mean it's still pretty but I was thinking mountain
Also why is she the only one there? Is this something they send kids to do? I have questions
Coco's going to fly into something isn't she?
Aww it's like a fuzzy snake
I really hope Agott isn't a jerk. She seems like a jerk so far. Or is it a superiority complex. "I don't like people who can't do what I can." Coco's only been doing magic for like a day!
Is that circle on her mom's sleeve a spell?
SHE'S GONNA DRAW IT ON HER CLOAK
OOH THE BOAT
Oh it's a throwback to the first episode that's good
Ok, I've never read the manga or anything so here are my thoughts on the anime.
Also spoilers cause this was what I thought while watching the episode
Oooh flying carriage with flying horses
That's that dude from all the edits
Where was he keeping his hat?
Don't spy on him why oh my gosh how did she not get caught
I knew she was going to do magic also the wand was a pen and ink? Really cool also why was that masked witch at the beginning handing them out to children?
She's going to wake up her mother
So there is something sus about the picture book
She got kidnapped apparently
Oh her mom died from the spell. Welp kids don't draw spells when you don't know what they are gonna do.
Great big lie about who can and can't use magic and wiping memories great
I don't know if anyone else is fed up with the way books are now, like you can like what you like, it's just there's no variety anymore, every book seems to have a romantic subplot and I don't want romance I want dragons and magic and ass kicking.
Like, it's gotten to the point where if I see a hint of a romance I will put the book back.
Don't get my wrong, if you like romance, go for it, I just don't like it, and it seems to be flooding fantasy and sci fi now, and there isn't much distinction anymore.
Sometimes the books I read have romance and explicit scenes, and I just skip them because I don't want to read it, so I can deal with it, but I'm so tired of dealing with it.
I made a powerpoint about this actually, mostly as a joke, because I thought it was funny.
Again though, I'm not trying to say that these books are bad, you can read whatever you want, it just annoys me to no end.
So I've been going through my google docs (slowly transitioning to ellipsus) and I found an eleven page doc of worldbuilding a Batfam x Harry Potter crossover that somehow transitioned into me completely overhauling the magical school system and now I really want to write it, but I have to write stuff for school, cause I'm responsible and all that shit.
Oh yeah, this all stemmed from one Drarry fic I read like forever ago btw

Today, we're reaching out to you for a "reverse" Virtual Book Club: some of our members in our Discord have asked for fandoms (January) and/or ships (February) with which no other member is familiar enough to hand out recommendations. So we're asking you for help!
Please check the list (including the extra info our members added) below the cut, see if you can help (or maybe reach out to friends you know will be able to help? 👀), then answer directly to this post or send us an ask with your recs, and we'll make sure our members see them.
The link will be enough, but if you want to add more info, that would be very much appreciated. Also, please don't forget to add which fandom/ship request you're answering 😊
Thank you in advance, we love you all 😘

Fandoms (January)
1. All For the Game crossovers
I’m looking for crossover fics.
Love long fics (will read anything but prefer over 20k)
Any crossovers will do, but you get cookies if you can find me an All for the game x Katekyou Hitman Reborn fic.
I will also accept Omegaverse, Sentinelverse, and BDSM verse fics.
2. Interview With The Vampire (Television)
Hi! Looking for any fics related to the amc version of Interview with the Vampire. I am fine with any ships (including actor RPF within the fandom), but particularly love Devil's Minion (Armand/Daniel).
3. The Vampire Diaries
I put TVD instead of The Originals bc I wanna read a fic, it can be a snippet or a drabble, about Elijah and Klaus giggling over their deception/fake sun and moon curse (lore)
Just them laughing and making jokes about how they have 2 species running around doing all the work for them for like an idea they had at 2am, drunk on rum-y blood, yk?
thinking about this after reading the Cyrus Mikaelson fic
But other fics unrelated to my craving are completely welcome!
Ships (February)
1. James Kirk/Leonard McCoy/Spock (Star Trek)
Looking for some McSpirk recs.
I'd much prefer to keep it SFW, but other than that I'm pretty open! And maybe something skewing a little longer?
Thanks in advance, y'all!
2. Kaladin/Shallan (Stormlight Archives)
Hi, I'm looking for oneshots/shorter fics with the pairing. I also don't mind the addition of Adolin 😉
Content-wise, I'm very open, I love angst (aka Kaladin) and am fine with open and/or unhappy endings.
3. Hua Cheng/Xie Lian (Tian Guan Ci Fu)
Looking for super tropey stuff for this ship. Any rating, canon or AU, I'm super easy, really. Maybe not super-angsty for me right now, though. Thanks!
4. Mal/Simon (Firefly)
I'd prefer more manageable lengths below 40k or so; you are welcome to suggest longer, but the higher the wordcount, the exponentially lower my likelihood of ever reading it 😅
My likes are: comedy, angst, ensemble cast stuff, character- and emotion-focused stories, cultural differences and misunderstandings/miscommunications, relatively 'equal' pairs who respect one another, complicated or neutral power dynamics (D/s just isn't interesting to me, sorry), outsider POV, unreliable narrator, forced proximity (inc. fake relationship), pining, awkwardness and self-consciousness, different kinds of intimacy.
I'm also up for poly; wanna bring Kaylee or Inara in? River?? (Incest is a-okay) I'm less interested in Jayne as a character, but otherwise I'm pretty game, haha! 😄
5. Robin Buckley/Chrissy Cunningham (Stranger Things)
Just getting into this ship, so please hit me with your best shot!

this was for today’s @nicodiangeloappreciationweek prompt; mourning!
i let my baby niece draw on this same canvas (a different layer) so i had to rush to finish it in the end. i’d like to think she helped in a way though
What if I rewatched Miraculous just so I could rewrite it.
And ooooh what if it was eldritch, I mean it's an idea or I could keep it human but I feel like it's gone out of the realm of a kids show (again I've only watched through season 3 and a few episodes of season 4) so I might make it darker if I do, but I really want to do this now.
Soooooooooo it's been a week. Time to see how I've done so far with the FRC!
In 7 days I have managed to complete 12 tasks,
I have read 109 fics, and with all those fics I have read 1,435,233 words.
Yeah, I have no social life.
I feel like Chloe being the first one to unakumatize would have been a great end to her redemption arc. So many of Hawkmoth's plans hinged around Chloe, and she decides to say "no more" and then gets rid of the akuma, and Ladybug sees this as a genuine sign of growth, causing her to interact more with Chloe, giving Chloe a positive role model.
