It was night already. The lights were out and the house quiet. Betty was supposed to be asleep but once again she was on her phone, not being able to find sleep.
That's when the window slid open. She was already on her way to grab her pocket knife when she saw her boyfriend tumbling inside.
"Oh my god, I would have stabbed you!" Betty whisper-yelled, immediately rushing over "What are you doing here??"
"Shh!" Jughead shushed, motioning her to get down "Get away from the window"
"Just do it. Get away from the window" He repeated before scrambling over to the bed in order to turn off the lamp on the nightstand, pulling the room into darkness.
"What the hell's going on, Jughead?? You can't just break into my room in the middle of the night without any explanation!" Betty scolded, though she did tone her voice into a whisper.
"Look, I- I got into some shit. You gotta be quiet, please"
Or Jughead trying not to lose his mind after Betty told him she was pregnant (he's not very successful) and perhaps losing some drugs.
