[Holly’s POV (kind of written like a diary) /slang-like speech]
My mom and dad have been fighting so much recently. Like 24/7 so to get out of the house Mike hangs out with me. Will started to tag along about three or four weeks ago and it’s definitely more fun.
Today we went to Will’s “Castle Byers” and just talked there for a while. The first thing I saw was the big wooden plank resting on top of the fort. It was beaten and broken and had paint that was washed off slightly written on it. “CASTLE BYERS+MIKE” i thought it was cute, and i still do. I could definitely tell that Will wrote “+MIKE” newly because it was blue and compared to “CASTLE BYERS”, the yellow paint were somewhat faded.
When I step inside, there’s at least ten pictures and drawings scattered either on the floor or hung up on one of the sticks with a thumbtack. Most of them are with Mike and Will in the frame, one even had celotape down the middle.
I pick up one of the drawings on the floor. “Is this yours?” I ask while flattening the portrait out. It looked like Mike, I have to say Will is a great artist. “Oh! Yea!” Will grabs the paper and crumbles it up. He sounded, and looks, embarrassed that I looked at it.
“That one’s old, so it’s kinda bad.” Will says while rubbing the back of his head and trying not to look at Mike. It’s not but okay. “Did you draw this? It’s really good… Can you teach me?” I smile and jump on the dirty mattress on the leafy floor next to him.

“You can blend the colours with your fingers if you want.” Will speaks to me as i clench the crayon tightly, scribbling blue all over the top of the paper. I draw until i run out of room and hold up the picture.
“It always gets my fingers all dirty though…” Will chuckles as he trails off and i glance at my fingers for a second to see that they have a slight tint of blue on my fingertips now.
“Mike! Look!” I whisper as i stare, smiling, at my creation. “Mike?” I repeat and turn around to see him. I get a glance of Mike before he sits up and pays attention to me. He was sat with his knees up to his chest, staring at something in front of him, smiling and blushing. He grabs the art out of my hands and looks at it. “Oh yea! This is really good Holly.” He says but i’m not listening, i turn my head to whatever he was looking at and all i see is Will.

“Mike!” I shout as i throw a stick at him. My giggling voice echoes in the dark forest as the three of us play outside in the rain.
“Ouch! Hey!” He shouts back, smiling. “Will! Get her!” Suddenly i’m lifted in the air with a laughing voice behind me. I turn my head to see Will, who’s hair is soaking to the point where he looks like he jumped in a pool. “Will,” He puts me down. “Do you not have a coat?” I ask as i touch his wet sleeve. “Here, have mine.” Mike remarks as he takes off his water-proof jacket and puts it around Will’s shoulders. I back up so he can put it on Will properly and see their red faces. I’m sure that my face isn’t that red is it?
“Well, we should probably get back home, it’s pretty dark out.” My brother speaks while rubbing the back of his neck and staring at Will. “Oh, okay. I’ll give you your coat back tomorrow!” Will exclaims while we walk off, Mike gives him a thumbs up in return.
“Mike?” I ask, looking up at my now damp older brother. “Yea, Holls?” He smiles, he’s in a good great mood now. “Is my face as red as yours?” I question as i point to his and mine cheeks. “Oh-uh-“ He stammers. I shrug my shoulders, knowing he won’t answer me fully.
“Let’s just go home.”
I TRIED MY BEST :/ Had a hard time making the romance go anywhere.
I want to see a depressed Mike in S5 bc Will and him haven’t spent as much time together as they used to or they’re gradually drifting away from eachother
The random urge for gogglebox to watch the strangers things 4 Mileven monologue and someone says with the most bri’ish accent ever “Ooo he’s lyin’.” IS SO FUNNY TO ME 😭🙏
