// happiness is something you have to search for yourself. you can’t force it, and nobody else can give it to you. there are people you meet that may make the process a hell of a lot easier, but nothing is ever guaranteed.
i’ve discovered what i want to do with my life. i’ve made some long-lasting friends, others… not so much. people come and go, life is a rollercoaster like that. my dad was diagnosed with cancer, but it’s slow growing and treatable. i earned a 4.0 gpa last semester, and i’m receiving the highest of praises from my profs this semester, even though i failed a class last spring. there are good things, and bad things.
i’ll just keep pushing on for as long as i can. now that i have more concrete goals, i find it easier for me to focus on the things that make me happy, and what i must do that will lead to my success.
i’ve learned a lot about myself, and about life in general, from my experiences in this fandom. i know i’ve always been on & off with my blogs, but regardless, i was always dedicated to knb & to aomine as a character. you guys are good people. i hope i’ll have the motivation to come back one day.

If, by some small miracle, he was given a second chance— to re-do his past at Teikou, and meet Tetsu all over again— what would he change? Knowing what he had to face in the future, in losing his passion for the hobby that connected him to the friends and teammates that surrounded him… how could he avoid making the same mistakes again?

"Is this seat free?"
"I think the barista confused our drinks - I see my name on your cup and I assume this is your name on mine?"
"Good morning/afternoon/evening! Will you be having the usual?"
"I'm really sorry I got your drink wrong, let me make it up to you."
"I got here first."
"I'm reading the same book and I'm sorry I cant help myself - how do you like the book so far?"
"I really need to access the internet, can I borrow your laptop/phone for a quick second?"
"I'm not having the usual today."
"Oh god, I know I already made my order but I just found out that I forgot my wallet-"
"I never knew you liked sweets."
"I'm sorry I ordered the last piece of ____ that you wanted but we can share. I insist."
"Excuse me, I thought you were familiar but - isnt that you on today's newspaper?"
"Wait! You forgot your phone on the table-"
"I thought you looked upset and on the verge of crying. Do you want to talk about it?"
"May I have your name for the cup?"
"You're new here, aren't you?"
"I'm surprised to see you here."
"I noticed you never order caffeine-based."
"You dont like it but you got a sweet tooth, don't you?"
"So you still visit here even if youre off duty?"
"It's raining heavily outside, a hot cup of _____ sounds really good right now."
"The rain won't let up, I guess I'll be stuck here for a lot longer than expected."
"You always come over when it's raining. You always order the same thing, always sit at the same table, always staring outside." (And I was always watching you)
"You can use my umbrella." (That way I can make sure that you'll come back here)
"It's your birthday today, isnt it? It's on the house/my treat."
"You left your notebook here yesterday - and I'm sorry but I skimmed through it and - you wrote here that you visit this place because of me?"
"We'll be closing the shop in fifteen minutes."
"I'm sorry - that was clumsy of me. Let me see your hand-"
"I will always ask for you. I wont drink anything unless youre the one who made it."
"I cant decide on what to order - what would YOU order?"
"Just mix something up - off the menu. Surprise me."
"You've been visiting this place for more than a month and you keep giving me a different name. I want to know your real name this time."
"You're obviously stressed and lacking sleep. I'm sorry but I dont think three shots of espresso would be healthy for you - three days on a row."

『He met with his fated shadow, the true light. 』… 『You still haven’t returned my fist bump, from that day… 』
“How stupid…” Sleeping shouldn’t be this difficult. Was it because the wind blowing around Touou’s roof was beginning to chill? With the sun tucking itself in under the horizon for the night, the world around him was quickly darkening. Maybe… it would be a better idea to just head home.
But there was something forming overhead, looming there ominously… akin to a storm cloud; it kept him in place. He didn’t have the will to get up, anymore. He didn’t want to go anywhere.
… Why was he thinking about these things? His parents, Satsuki, someone was going to start worrying if he didn’t move… he’d already missed dinner, but even though he was back to practice, he didn’t expend much energy these days either way… so what did it matter if he skipped a meal…
『 The one standing in front of that door… it was you all along. 』
He’d lost. He’d finally found a rival to suit his needs, someone that pushed him to higher limits, that kept him entertained without bound… it was everything he wanted and more. So why…
Why did it still feel as if something was missing?
Sitting himself upright, something in his peripheral vision caught his attention, sticking out like a sore thumb in the midst of his dark thoughts. It was his shadow, cast against the concrete floor of the roof, growing fainter and further away from him until it faded from sight completely– along with the last light of the sun.

New tiny small picture for 75.5 OVA preview. Everything a it this ova looks so cute and bright and happy.
"Happy birthday Aomine-kun" Kuroko showed a small envelop on his hands and gave to the other. It was an old picture that Momoi took of the two of them. "Thank you for playing basketball with me for so long. I'm glad."
It was two months later that Aomine had found himself sitting atop his bed, envelope in hand. When Tetsu had presented it to him as a gift, he’d surely opened it, took one look, and stuffed it into his jacket out of pure embarrassment; receiving a small and knowing smile from the boy with his actions– but he hadn’t touched it since.
Maybe he’d found a nice place for it in his room so it wouldn’t get lost, maybe he’d glanced at it once or twice in private; but other than that, he left it alone. Aomine was vulnerable to mushy, sentimental things like this, and if he could help it, he’d keep it out of mind for as long as possible.
… But, he thought now, as he fingered the envelope in hand with a gentleness that was normally not associated with the likes of him; but. He felt almost guilty, allowing a relic of the past like this to simply rot away in his drawer. He had no idea what he was to do with it now that he’d went and dug it out, he couldn’t even bring himself to open the damn envelope again– but he had to think of something.
Something Tetsu would appreciate. He’d gone through the trouble of printing it out for him, after all. Most likely, he’d also figured that Aomine wouldn’t do anything with it; and he knew that it wasn’t as if Tetsu had no faith in him… just…
Aomine was aware of his own tendencies to do things like this. Of course Tetsu would catch on, too, being his best friend and all.
… That kind of pissed him off, when he thought about it. On top of the nostalgia and faint pangs of guilt, he wanted to be able to prove Tetsu wrong. To prove himself wrong. He had to be capable of doing something right.
… An idea suddenly struck him.
That’s it. A picture frame.
