Ava shrugged, finishing the remains in her glass and asking for a soda to replace it. The blonde looked a little young to be drinking, but Avalon had a fake herself before turning twenty-one. “He knows to hand me water in between drinks so I don’t die when I wake up in the morning. The bartenders in here are used to me getting water. Just not without any whiskey.”
Apollo nodded. "That makes sense." She paused for a minute, planning out her words. That was something she had quickly learned to do here in Valdez. "Is this some sort of New Year's resolution or something? Not to pry or anything but you don't exactly seem thrilled by the whole 'no whiskey' prospect." She said with a raised eyebrow.
plot drop update;;
Apollo went to the casino for just a casual night out, not trying to get involved in anything related to the gang or the feud. She figured the peace treaty was flimsy but she wanted to believe in it. Once she realized what was happening, she tried to get out of there. She crawled on the floor towards the door, suffering many cuts on her hands from broken glass/wood. She finally managed to hide behind a slot machine and unfortunately for her, it was shot at, causing it to fall backwards and nearly squish her against the wall. She blacked out and woke up in the hospital severely bruised and angry.
Why choose the Savages over the Cobras?
“I’m not one for politics, honestly. And I’ve never liked cops.”

Make Me Choose!
This or that!
It was times like this Ava wished she wasn’t so competitive. New Years Eve, she bet Erica that the two couldn’t last two weeks without a drink. Ava would be damned if she was the first to cave. Here she was, in Sharpshooters, with a glass of water. The bartender gave one hell of a look when she asked for water instead of her usual. The bet never said they could go to the bar. Ava just couldn’t drink. The door behind her dinged as someone else came in. “Don’t judge me,” she laughed, hearing someone coming up to the bar. “It’s a long story.”
Apollo raised an eyebrow. She wasn't even supposed to be here - legally anyway - and even she knew water at the bar was practically a sin. "No judgement here." She said curtly. "But you could at least humor the poor sap behind the counter with a seltzer water." She said with a laugh. She flicked her ID towards the bartender, quickly enough for him to look but not long enough for him to know it was fake. She didn't even like alcohol but she liked being drunk.

“Be my guest im clueless.”He chuckled stepping aside with his hands raised. “Damn thing is falling apart on me. I try to take care of what I can but bills keep adding up and work is slow.” He sighed. He tried not to bring up his job. Being a detective in town run by gangs was kind of awkward to say the least. “Thanks, most people would leave a sap like me freezing on the sidewalk “
Apollo shrugged. "I get it. My families been there. Done that." She tried not to give out too much information about her life. People here liked to ask questions. She bent down to look at the bike, running her gloved hands over where she thought the porblem might be. "There actually are nice people here, you just have to get past their not-so-cuddly exterior." She said with a small smile.
“Fuck fuck fuck,” Jack swore under his breath as his bike stalled again in the cold. He slammed the seat with his fist. “Come on!” He prayed to no one, in particular, knowing the junker wouldn’t start. He shivered the cold getting to him. He kicked the bike, “FUCK” He didn’t notice the stranger walk up behind him. “Sorry. didn’t mean to scare you. Look im kinda busy fixing my bike do you need something?”
Apollo adjusted her jacket, pulling the collar closer to her neck. She was freezing, the snow on the ground half melted at her feet. She could hear someone shouting ahead of her but she didn't take her eyes off the ground until she was close enough to realize who they were. "No worries." She said casually. "I was just about to ask if you needed some help. I know I don't look like it but I grew up with brothers, I know my way around gears." She shrugged.
