Intro post! With a lot of important information! (PLEASE READ, ESPECIALLY BEFORE FOLLOWING ME)
THIS POST HAS COLORED AND HIGHLIGHTED WORDS SO IT IS (OR AT LEAST I HOPE) EASIER TO READ FOR NEURODIVERGENT PEOPLE, SINCE IS A LONG POST WITH A LOT OF TEXT.
â ïžDO NOT INTERACT: If you are a pedophile, zoophilic or whatever other philia, if you discriminate other people or think they don't deserve to live for whatever reason (skin color, sexuality, religion, nationality, body type, disability, gender identity etc), if you support eating disorders such as bulimia or anorexia (it's okay to interact if you suffer from it, i mean the people who promote it), if you're a TERF (trans excluding radical feminist), if you think there's a sex that's better than others, if you support idiots like Trump, J.K. About Me! :)
conclave userboxes by @st1ckerb00k :)
You can call me Apaz or Anto, if we're close i prefer Anto.
I am 17 years old, which means that i'm a minor.
Pronouns are She/Her, but i don't mind to be called stuff like dude, mate, man, bro, guy, etc., since these are just genderless expressions for me.
I'm from Argentina đŠđ·, which means that my mother language is spanish. I speak a pretty fluent english and i'm learning italian (but i can understand it pretty well!)
I don't know what my romantic orientation is, and i mostly don't care about it, but i'm asexual sex-repulsed/aversed. Which means that, in addition to not being able to feel sexual attraction, any mention/interaction with sex disgusts me. It make me a bit sick when someone tells/shows me something related (So, please don't talk to me about that). I can stand suggestive stuff, tho!
I'm not diagnosed of anything, but i do have social anxiety (luckily i'm getting better!), trust issues, and some sort of anger issues (PLEASE, have this in mind!)
I am an ambivert, which means that depending on the situation or the person I can be more introverted or more extroverted. If we're moots, or we simply have common interests, you can send me a message (mutuals and friends) or an ask (anyone!) I accept recommendations for books/series/movies/songs and requests for doodles!
I love animals! My favorites are felines in general (i particularly love panthers and jaguars), dogs (and other canines like foxes), turtles and hedgehogs. As a funfact, i have 7 cats, and 1 dog, although these numbers might change (i use #my cats and #my dogs) Please talk to me about animals!
My hobbies include: Drawing (I draw digitally and traditionally, and use Ibispaint in my phone), reading (i love police, poetry, psichological horror, fantastic, sci-fi and light fantasy genres), collecting trinkets and other stuff, and sometimes sculpting, writing and animating. Still learning to crochet!

Things i love a lot and still interact with the fandom:
Things i enjoy, and you will see me reblog stuff of once in a while:

I have never played the game nor want to), Sonic (i like the designs and characters, know some things about the story), My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Equestria Girls (i only watched the EG movies, but i still know a lot about the show), Kpop Demon Hunters, Game Changer and Make Some Noise.
And that was all! If you made it this far, thank you! :D
Even though Salute Your Morts is a more light-hearted episode, it does fit into the overall darker tone of season 9 surprisingly well. Back in Pickle Rick, even though Beth was a lot meaner to the kids (and her relationship with Rick was more dysfunctional), she explicitly acknowledged that Summerâs substance abuse was because of her home life - while Summer considered herself as âsomeone who just likes getting highâ. Beth also expressed concern about the kids getting expelled and it seemed that this was the only reason she agreed to go to therapy in the first place, given her aversion to it. In Salute Your Morts, while she is upset about the kids getting expelled, the only action she takes about it is to summon and blame Rick. Once she passes control of the situation to him, she and Jerry just get high, hardly even remembering to feign concern about Summerâs drug stash - which is pretty significant for Beth since she always shows disapproval of Summerâs substance abuse, even if she does little to prevent it. This episode, itâs actually Summer who calls out the family for influencing her (and Mortyâs) behaviour.
While the adults of the family are healthier in many ways, a lot of that comes at the expense of the kids. Beth and Jerry are still focused on their relationship above all else, and thatâs made very clear in this episode. In Pickle Rick, they were in the middle of a divorce. In Salute Your Morts, theyâre getting high and laughing together like teenagers, helping each other through panic attacks, calling each other nicknames, and professing their love for each other. However, theyâre neglecting their kids because of it - very literally acting the way they did before the kids existed.
if you think about it in the end bbc sherlock simply talks about two extraordinary men in love and literally everything that prevents them from getting together. That's it. For like 20 hours straight.
Deliberately took two of my sisters out to the clothes store and told them to go pick out yellow+blue outfits so I could secretly use them to draw Morties on top. The ONLY moment I have ever been glad my younger sister's taller than me âđ
unfortunately I can't show y'all the actual picture because my sisters are minors, but I used it as a lighting + color study most of all. I showed my parents the finished painting and they didn't realize it wasn't us, that's how fitting they were for the job. btw I did end up keeping those pants because thEY'RE SO FUNNY!! IT'S LIKE YOU'RE WEARING 2 PANTS- LIKE, THAT'S NOT A BELT THAT'S ANOTHER WAISTBAND. MY MOTHER HATES IT SO MUCH :D
Anyway, I've been meaning to figure out what my personal design of Morty (and EM) would be, and my problem with that is that i REALLY like that Morty is basic as fuck... 2010's vibes.. And I think EM wouldn't dress any differently either because he strongly believes his identity can exist outside of what makes a Morty a Morty and sticks to what he likes. Yellow shirt, blue jeans, white shoes. Helmet hair he makes sure to keep perfect (âis that enough off the top?â).
but i do have some pet peeves with their canon design âââ
And uhhh I'm gonna be honest, I don't like Morticia. I used to hate Miami Morty too because he just LOOOKs annoying, but now he's one of my favorites and I need him and Morti to be besties so I can learn how to like her too
Estaba poniendo esto en las tags pero Tumblr se puso la gorra. Me doy el atrevimiento de agregar:

I feel like people donât give the Cornetto Trilogy enough credit for its female characters. Theyâre all very clearly written as women and even though, like the male characters, theyâre written as certain stereotypes they still feel so real.
Even in Hot Fuzz when the majority of the cast is male you fucking remember realistically happily slutty Doris who has a harem of men at her beck and call. She could have been a male fantasy but sheâs so aggressively in charge of her own sexuality you never hear male viewers sexualize her. Itâs magical.
I didnât even realize that Shaun of The Dead set the tone for me until I watched the movie again a few nights ago.
At 1:27 thereâs a random scene where the only people helping Shaun are the female characters. They donât make any real point of it but we get it. Liz and Dianne know Shaun is slightly stronger than them so they hand him the âspearâ but they act as a team. Extra material on the DVD even revealed that Shaun, Liz and Dianne were the only characters who survived to the end (Dianne got away and hid in a tree apparently).
Women are in general far more capable and helpful in the movie and Shaun himself is the most âfeminine codedâ of the male characters. Youâll never see a male protagonist more honest about his emotions and more willing to be visibly vulnerable than Shaun I can tell you that much.
And in The Worldâs End we have Sam who has her own agency and doesnât exist to be a price to be won by the main character Gary at the end of the movie, try as he might. She will help and save him and let him help and save her, yes, but the movie makes it very clear that doesnât mean he has any right to her. She wants Steven and thereâs nothing Gary can do about that.
The movies arenât feminist masterpieces but together Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg writes some amazing female characters.
Side note; men also act a certain way around women in these movies that I canât quite put my finger on. They donât treat women as brilliant goddess or anything and can be downright inappropriate but thereâs also a certain respect that feels unusual in movies? When Liz grabs Ed in Shaun of The Dead he doesnât push her away or grab her back. He just sorta shakes her off without touching her in a âfuck off but I have zero interest in hurting youâ way. I really donât know how to explain it. Thereâs an understanding that âyes we are stronger than women so we can hurt them unintentionally but we know theyâre our equals in both good and bad so thereâs no reason to take advantage of that and women have had to learn to get the upper hand in other ways so strength doesnât mean an automatic win anywayâ. Just the way Shaun and Ed approach the girl in the garden before they know sheâs a zombie. Theyâre afraid of her but not really and yet a little scared anyway. ItâsâŠdifferent.
But yeah, in these movies women get to be women because it doesnât make them lesser, just like the men get to show their feminine side because it isnât shameful.
