- 1980s au. alfred in members only jackets and ridiculously large reeboks. arthur was more into the punk scene for sure with his walkman always on, leather jackets, the whole shebang. they meet at an arcade, both of them playing pacman for the first time. alfred is more of an âafricaâ or âdonât stop believinâ kind of guy, while arthur is all for the clash, queen, fleetwood mac, all the old music legends. they watch late night programs together and snuggle, falling asleep to those annoying and CONSTANT advertisements about parents keeping their children away from drugs.
- zombie apocalypse au with a twist. arthur knows the cure, but he doesnât have the equipment or technology to do anything with his knowledge. he runs into alfred in an abandoned grocery store, the two of them very skeptical about the other. alfred doesnât know whether to trust arthur or not, but heâs so desperate for the whole thing to be over with, that he gives him the benefit of the doubt. the two of them travel from new york to chicago to reach the argonne national laboratory, alfred protecting arthur the entire trip. they meet people and lose people, but itâs worth it for saving the world.
- youtubers/influencers au. alfred is a lets player who plays stupid games he finds online. arthur makes satire reaction videos, showing him sarcastically making comments about the worst content he can find. alfred comments on one of arthurâs videos that they should collab, and it ends up happening! they react to awful video games, and itâs a huge and surprising success. they keep collaborating and get closer to each other. very domestic. their video announcing their relationship gets AMAZING reception from the fans
- THE OFFICE AU. alfred as jim and arthur as a grumpy pam. need i say more?
- detroit become human au. alfred is an android for a rich family. arthur is a human who fights for android rights. one day alfred is in the town with his family when he sees arthur on the street with a group of people, holding cardboard signs that say things like âTHEYâRE PEOPLE TOO.â he doesnât really know what to make of it all since it isnât in his program, but he canât stop thinking about it. he breaks out of his program and becomes sentient, escaping from the family and meeting with arthur the next day. the two of them lead a revolution for equal rights for androids.
