Girlfriend! Finland Headcanons

Annnd they’re back

Hi! How would the Nordics react to having a really tomboyish child? Like what would they do with them?

Denmark would looooooovvvveee this. He’d dress his child up as a viking and take them out a rowboat. He’d take them across a lake or something of the sort and pretend that they’re plundering together (though not doing real damage).

Sweden would be indifferent probably. He’s gonna love his child no matter what they were like, whether they were a tomboy or more girly. I can see him teaching his child how to carve wood and make furniture for their future home.

Norway would be a tad wary about his child being a tomboy. Not that he’s opposed to the idea, but he’d be more worried that they would act more like Denmark than anything. He’d probably teach them how to NOT be like Denmark and be more like their daddy instead.

Finland would be worried that his child was manlier than he was. Like that kid would be wrestling bears and learning how to growl into the mic at the age of five (not that’s he’s showing them how to shhh).

Iceland frankly wouldn’t give a damn about his kid being a tomboy. He’d probably take them puffin watching and sledding and honestly anything he’d do with any other of his children :)

Hi! I was wondering, if you could do one with the s/o and nordics fighting that goes into silent treatment? How long would they hold the silence and who would start talking first? Thank you!

Gonna do it in bullet form because I’m lazy

Denmark:

probably gets in a fight over something stupid like washing dishes/taking out trash or something

he says something incredibly stupid and something he doesn’t mean

S/O says something right back at him because hey, they’re hurt

I’d say the silent treatment lasts about 10 minutes or so

Denmark is the first to talk because he didn’t mean a word he said and neither did his S/O

Sweden:

the argument is about how little time Sweden spends with his S/O

Sweden is silent the whole time because well, he’s Sweden

“You’re not even saying anything!”

the silent treatment goes on for about 20 minutes or until his S/O seems to have cooled down enough

Sweden speaks first and promises to do better :)

Norway:

ehhh the fight was probably about him spending way too much money on coffee and how that’s probably going to screw him over tbh

S/O confronts him about this little “problem”

Norway gets super pissed and gives his S/O a good tongue lashing that most likely makes them cry/tear up

unfortunately the silent treatment could go on for a day or two

his S/O is the one who apologizes for being a brat and freaking out when it’s obvious Norway has enough money to buy as much coffee as he pleases

Finland:

very rare when he and his S/O get in an argument???

he hates fighting and will only do it when he gets incredibly irritated

in this case his S/O locked Sealand in the closet and left him there because he was being bad and ended up forgetting him

“You left him in a closet?!?!?!”

the silent treatment lasts for about 0.5 seconds because his S/O is quick to apologize and explain everything

Iceland:

the fight started because Iceland’s S/O was teasing him like usual

for some reason Iceland took it too personally and made a big deal out of it

thus he locks himself in his room for the rest of the day

the silent treatment lasts until he’s calmed down and comes out (which may take a while)

Iceland is the first one to speak and apologizes for taking offense too quickly

How would our boys react to their s/o, who has been deployed for the millitary for a long while, surprising them when they get home? I went on a blog spree last night and read your whole blog it's amazing I love ♥

Denmark would cry, no doubt about it. He’s been sick in the heart ever since his S/O left, so he’d definitely love to see them again. His S/O would’ve been waiting for him with a brand new puppy, and Denmark would first gasp because he couldn’t believe his eyes and then break out crying. “You’re home!!! And with a puppy!!!”

Sweden would immediately swoop his S/O up into his arms (even if they are bigger or smaller than he is) and would hold on very tight. He’d cry silently, but you’d still be able to feel his chest heave. His S/O would simply be at his front door when they surprise him.

Norway would be more shocked than anything, but then relieved that his S/O wasn’t hurt in any shape or form. He’d search their body for any changes and ask if that was really them, and when it was proved true he would smile from ear to ear. The way his S/O would surprise him would be them making coffee and waiting for him to walk in through the front door.

Finland is another crier. He knows the hell of being put through war, so he’d be more than happy to see that his S/O was simply alive. He’d kiss their face all over and hold onto them tight for a long time. His S/O surprised him by coming home with flowers and a Moomin doll. 

Iceland would blink at his S/O for a moment before running into their arms and burying his head in their chest/shoulder. He wouldn’t necessarily cry, but his face would be a bright red. He would take hold of his S/O’s hands and whisper over and over, “You’re back, you’re back, you’re back…”

How would the Nordics react to their s/o being dominant?

Denmark: Would fight this person. He’s a very dominant man himself (personality wise and sexually), so I don’t think he would like it too much. If his S/O successfully managed to have him pinned down or against the wall, I think he would enjoy more than he admits.

Sweden: Once again, dominant person. He’s more laid back than Denmark, but he’d like to have some control in the bedroom because hey, he was an empire once too and power is power. If his S/O was usually submissive, then he would wonder what go into them for them to act like this but would get used to it soon enough.

Norway: Two words: play time.

Finland: Another one to worry about S/O if they are usually submissive. I personally see Finland being a switch, so he wouldn’t be too surprised if his S/O would be dominant every once in a while.

Iceland: …He needs a dom. Badly.

hello! i need some help getting asks. i have a blog with almost 200 people that follow me and nobody really sends in anything, i just dont know what to do ):

My best advice is just to keep posting things! Somebody’s bound to send in something sometime, you just have to be patient. It wasn’t until a while when I received my first ask. If you post something and somebody likes the idea/gets their own off of it, maybe they’ll send something in? And don’t procrastinate. I do that way too much on this blog, and I still have asks in my box that need to be answered (sorry about that guys!) Hopefully this helps?

Denmark’s S/O’s hands were sneaky as they crept up from the couch and gingerly sat on his knee. Denmark didn’t mind, and he even thought that it was a display of affection. He flashed them a boyish smile and turned his attention back to the TV. Then, all of a sudden, he felt both of their hands plunge between his muscular thighs. He slowly turned back to them and stared. “Needy much?” “Piss off, my hands are cold.”

“Sweden, can we please turn the temperature up? It’s freezing in here,” his S/O whined as they desperately rubbed their hands together. Sweden grunted in response. “It’s alright in here.” His S/O pouted. “To you, maybe. You’re like a walking heater most of the time.” Sweden sighed and took hold of their hands, bringing them up and under his shirt. He pressed them to his abdomen and remained blank while his S/O blushed. “You warm now?”

Norway pushed his S/O’s hands away from his thighs again. “Do you mind? I would like to watch this. And stop trying to shove your hands between my thighs!” His S/O smacked his arm. “Oh, come on! Unlike you, the cold actually gets to me!” “That doesn’t mean you have to use me as warmth,” he said with a snort. He took a glance at their pleading eyes and looked away with a sigh. “Fine. But only if I get to put my hands between yours.”

Finland’s S/O squirmed as they sat in their seat, their hands hidden underneath their thighs. They were shaking and the fingertips were turning to a purplish color, due to it being cold. Finland cocked his head. “You’re chilly aren’t you?” His S/O bobbed their head in reply. “Is there anything I can do to help?” His S/O’s hands immediately shot out and settled on his soft tummy. Finland blushed as his S/O sighed with relief.

“Oh my god, Iceland, stop being such a wimp!” Iceland squealed and grasped onto his S/O’s wrists. “I am not being a wimp! You just have really freaking cold hands and I don’t want them on me!” “But you’re so warm!” “So what?!” All the while, Iceland’s cheeks became more and more red with each passing second. “Just let me in between your thighs, okay?” “No! You already do enough!”

Hellooo~ I was wondering if you help me find this one Nordic fanfic where denmark murders everybody and they're all locked in his mansion I would highly appreciate it!

The Danish Slaughterhouse made me cry, so this is a warning to you. I think it was really freaking good despite it being really fucked up. It probably doesn’t help that I was listening to Keep Myself Alive by Get Scared while I read this. It also doesn’t help that that song describes the story’s situation perfectly.

“Deeeeennnnmmaaaarrrkkk, can you come in here for a second?” his S/O called from the bathroom. Denmark looked up from his game and quickly paused it before hurrying up the stairs. “Yeeeees?” he called back. He stepped in the bathroom and looked around with furrowed brows. Where were they? “Uh-” “BOO!” they shouted as they jumped out at him. Denmark screamed and tripped over his own two feet in his desperate attempt at fleeing. “Not! Cool!!!!”

Sweden was casually sitting in his armchair when his S/O started to shout his name from down the hall. He got up in a second and hurried down the hall towards their voice. He started to worry; what if they were hurt? Stuck? Spider? “What is it?” he asked, but there was no reply. Suddenly, a pair of hands grabbed onto his shoulders and Sweden spun around on his attacker and pinned them to the wall. When he saw his S/O’s wide eyes, Sweden visibly softened and gave a sigh. “You know I don’t like to be startled.”

“Norway, can’t you just come in here for a second? I don’t know what to wear!” Norway sighed as he continued to fix his hair in the mirror. “Does it matter? Just choose something that looks nice. It’s just a restaurant,” he replied to his S/O. Silence was what he received in return. He rolled his eyes and set down his comb and walked back out into the bedroom. “What, are you going to give me the silent treatment?” He scowled when he was met again with silence. Then his S/O jumped out from behind the closet door and shouted at him. Norway just blinked. “Wear navy. It matches my eyes.”

Finland was out of the kitchen and was already running up the stairs the moment he heard his S/O calling out for him. He started down the hall, calling back at them and wondering what could be the problem. That’s when his S/O popped out right in front of him from the doorway he was about to pass. With a small shriek, he sent a fist out as his first defense and punched them in the nose. “OHHHH! I’m so sorry!” he cried as held his hands back. His S/O groaned and clutched their bloody nose. “Now there really is something wrong!!”

“Iceland. Iceland. Icey. Ice Ice Baby. Come out here, please? I know you want to,” his S/O kept saying over and over. Iceland rolled over on his bed and yanked the blanket up over his head. All he wanted was to listen to his music! How much was that to ask? The chanting eventually stopped and Iceland got comfortable enough to remove the blanket. He immediately regretted his decision though. Once the fabric was out of his vision, his S/O shot their hands out at him and made Iceland flinch. He did it so hard that he accidentally rolled off of the bed and hit the floor. He whined from his spot and brought the blanket back up over his head. “Don’t do that!”

headcanons for when the nordic's s/o is sick?

Denmark: I can see Denmark preparing a nice meal or some soup for his S/O. Expect a lot of ‘get better’ cuddles, even if he gets sick in the process. He’d wrap them up in blankets and set them on the couch while he read to them or played with their to make them fall asleep.

Sweden: Probably scares the illness away Sweden would probably be the most rational out of all the Nordics and get all the supplies he needs before seeing his S/O. He’d get the proper medicine and food and would take them to the doctor’s if needed. If they got long hair and are throwing up, Sweden’s your man to hold it all back.

Norway: Makes a m a z i n g tea or something equally hot and delicious. He’s a wary one and would be careful not to get too close to his S/O, but I’m sure that he’d be willing to do anything within reason for them.

Finland: He would baby the absolute shit out of them. It’d be really cute to see to a new person, but in reality it would be overbearing. He’d worry about his S/O too much and forces them to stay in bed all day. When he’s taking care of somebody, he does it til the point where the sickness is entirely gone.

Iceland: Will wear a face mask. Always. I see Iceland as the type to catch a cold easily, so he goes to great lengths in preventing it. He’d be pretty chill in wrapping his S/O in a blanket and watching Netflix with them the entire day. At the end of the day when he goes home, he would scrub his entire body until it turns pink and might even try to bleach it.
